Enjoyed the Athens city part more than the long drive out to the Temple of Poseidon. it wasn't so much the drive but the excessive time spent at the location patiently waiting for the sun to set.

The tour guides are so helpful. They are knowledgeable, very personable and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

My brother and I visited greece in November. As it was his first time I wanted a nice all day tour that combines the best of Athens. This was the perfect tour. It combined la guided all inclusive tour of the Acropolis, the Olympian Stadium, National Gardens and guard parade and a visit to Plaka, all in the morning. Our tour guide was Theo. Then in the afternoon we went to the Poseidon Temple and that close the day spectacularly. Theo provided us with the right amount of knowledge, stories, and suggestions all in an amicable, fun way. He even learned our names. Highly recommended and if Theo is your tour guide even better.

My husband and I loved this tour. Ilianna was our guide throughout the entire day and she was so wonderful. Very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. She also gave us amazing restaurant and bar recommendations which were highlights of our time in Athens. I believe there are two versions of the tour, we opted for the all day tour which included the Temple of Poseidon. Being there at sunset was truly magical and great for photos if that's your thing. I will say if you are limited on time in Athens you can perhaps skip the Temple of Poseidon portion of the tour as it is a bit of a drive. Nonetheless for us it was the highlight. Overall the tour was well organized and a good balance of breaks/downtime but also covering a lot of ground. Thank you Getaways Greece for a very memorable experience

The tour started on time. We had three guides, Danae for the morning city part, Mikaela for the Acropolis part, and Theodore for the afternoon part. Danae gave us a lot of information about the city of Athens, its history and customs. Mikaela gave us a lot of information about the Acropolis and some Greek history too. Theodore was my favorite. He was not only knowledgeable but also charismatic. He made the tour go by quickly. During the tour we were able to visit all scheduled sites which was a nice surprise. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if short on time. The drivers were great too. You definitely get your money’s worth.

The trip was great. Our guides Athena, Danaii, and Maria were all superb. A lot to see and do but sufficient time provided for all.

We loved our tour with Viator/Getaways Greece. Our drivers Ben and Salvador are very experienced. I’m not sure how they navigate the big buses on the narrow roads. Our guides Athena and Angelica were great. They were friendly, kind and very knowledgeable. They went out of their ways to make our experience very nice! We have used Viator before and will again. We highly recommend them.
