4-Day Classical Greece Tour: Epidaurus, Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi, Meteora

Tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable! I enjoyed the trip for the most part except for meals. It would be nice to know ahead what the meal plan is like and not have a buffet for both breakfast and lunch. We could've gotten something at a rest stop and not a buffet. Also, be aware of where they drop you off at the end of the tour. We were dropped off quite far away from our hotel with all of our luggage on a busy street and had to call a taxi. Our hotel was on the list for pickup and drop off.

First of all let me tell whoever is reading this review, that the tour itinerary is really good, so as the hotel and driver. But what really lack was the tour guide Jenny. She might be good to be a tour guide if the tour is in Greek. But we are bunch of people who wanted to learn about Greece as q one in a lifetime experience who don't speak greek. We should have a tour guide who could speak bare minimum English. So the tour organizers should have vetted the guide for people who are spending more than $1000 for this 4 day tour. The tour operator disappointed us and made this worthless. I didn't learn any thing from this tour than just see some ruins. Sorry to say, it's not even the fault of the guide. It's the operator of this tour made this a flop for all the people. I got the same feedback from others who were with us. Really disappointing, but you provide us such good hotel to stay and awesome driver, why you guys do your due diligence to hire a English speaking guide and disappoint all of us. I was following other guides there to listen what all the things were about. I don't want you to defend your action against this review. Please work it out for others travellers to have a better experience.

Our tour guide Rose was incredible. Very knowledgeable and passionate about her topics.. The locations visited were marvelous. I highly recommend this tout.

What a wonderful experience this tour was. From the first day our group became a cohesive group of travellers. We enjoyed the myths/stories told by our guide Joy, and her incredible knowledge of the sties. The sites themselves were breathtaking. I think Delphi was my favourite, but they were all wonderful. I did the 4 day tour and was so glad I did, the meteora monasteries were beautiful. Our driver George was on his last drive before retirement and he was amazing too. Money well spent.

Visiting Meteora was very memorable, beautiful scenery! Hotels were dated, Amalia hotel in Delphi had filthy carpet in the room. Air conditioning in the bus didn’t work well. Fellow travelers were nice.

Amazing guided tour by knowledgable and engaging guide Stathi Comfortable and gorgeous hotels and yummy breakfast and dinner Option of not buying lunch was good Really liked the tour except the bus seats were a bit tight and the information prior to the tour about timing and return to athens was poor. The tour was advertised as returning to Athens in the afternoon, but on the tour we were advised it would be the evening. We had booked a flight at 8pm expecting to be back in time. Instead we had to leave the Tour a day /night early to make it back in time for our flight, so we missed seeing meteora. The tour guide was great and helped is get a bus back to Athens early, but we were not offered a refund.

I went to the center of the World - Delphi. The most sacred and most beautiful site of the ancient Greek world. Our guide, Joy, was a wonderful story teller in two languages! She gave us lots of time and kept us on schedule.

Had a great trip. Enjoyed all of our stops. The only issue was after the trip. We were next to the last drop off, and one of our bags was missing. Apparently one of the other guests took our bag by mistake, then abandoned it in the lobby of their hotel. It is upsetting to think that someone would do that. Our tour guide had to make several calls to the other drop off locations, and eventually located it. The bag then was sent to us via taxi. The taxi fee was covered by the bus driver. It made a long day even longer.

This tour surpassed our expectations! All was well organized. Our guide Dimitra was knowledgeable, professional and kept us on track with the schedule. The bus driver was very capable. The hotels were in beautiful locations, clean and comfortable. Meals were exceptional and traditionally classic to the region. The ancient destinations we visited were remarkable. Great trip for history, mythology or just plain curious people. Highly recommend this tour.

Definitely take this tour! We were not rushed. Plenty of time to see everything and take photos. Our guide Joy was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to understand. Restaurants were wonderful and food was excellent. Hotels were beautiful, clean and large rooms. I feel very lucky to have decided on this tour by CHAT.
