All in all our trip was great but there were certain things were lacking. The tour guide Emelia was very knowledgeable about each area we visited. Absolutely loved each location. The bus was comfortable especially since it was only 12 people in our group. The Amelia hotels was a 3 star even though we paid for a 4 star hotel! The food the first not was ok the 2 other nights it was not good! Also no variety each hotel had the same food no. Since it was a small group it would have been nicer to have stayed in smaller boutique hotels with better food or not include dinner!

The tour was excellent. We toured Epidaurus, Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi, and Meteora. Our guide and bus driver were both amazing. It was a decent sized group, 26 of us. We were comfortable (not cramped) on the bus. The hotels were okay, not my favorite part of the tour. we booked "First Class Hotels." I don't know what that really meant, as I would not describe any of the three hotels as First Class. The hotel in Nafplio needs a refresh, desperately. Breakfast was good, dinner again was just okay. Service at all three hotels was excellent. We had to pay 3 euros for each hotel. Lunch was not included, which we knew when we booked the tour. The lunch spots chosen were fine. Nothing to write home about. I feel for the price we paid to be able to visit the places we did was where the value was with this tour.

This was a spectacular experience! Both the driver and guide (Spiro and Emilia) were absolute professionals - experienced, friendly, fully prepared and organized, and they worked very well together. I always felt we were in capable hands, and I think Emilia must be a professional historian because her knowledge was extensive and she presented the material in very clear English. Both she and Spiro were attentive to any special needs and very conscientious in keeping track of us. It was a small group so we had a mini-coach - very comfortable and clean and smooth riding. The 3 hotels were all in the Amalia chain and I liked them very much. They all had their own particular character, and we had patios/balconies at each. We'd requested twin beds. In the photo shown they are moved together but they could be separated pretty easily. Others on the tour had a king size mattress. All perfectly clean and comfortable. If you are looking for white-glove luxury and tend to register every piece of chipped paint or dust on a lamp, you'll want to look for something a good deal more expensive. To me, the level of service and comfort was beyond expectations and an excellent value for the price. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were all in the hotels and all excellent. Are they similar from day to day? Yes, but the buffet table is about 20 feet long (with a separate area for desserts and beverages). There are a ton of options and plenty of variety. Loads of fresh fruits and vegetables and local fare. And of course, the sites visited were beyond spectacular. We were dropped off close to entrances and never had to look far for our bus to re-board. My only suggestion for improvement would be to build in 10-15 minutes of free time between the guided tour narratives and the museum visits to allow for wandering, photos and toilet breaks. A few times we were cutting it very close with the timed tickets because people (including me!) did do a bit of wandering. I was a bit leery when I booked this because Viator doesn't offer much detail about the tour company, but I learned during the trip that CHAT Tours is the oldest operating tour company in Greece, and I think that is worth something also. Their brochures were everywhere, including the high-end hotel we booked in Athens for our post-tour stay. We encountered various Globus tour groups along the way and I always felt like I was getting the better experience!

Arrangements and places visited good but Horrible Guide. Did not know anything and also had very poor English language.

Yes, the ruins are amazing but that was about all that was good about this particular trip. The bus driver often was looking down or at the guide, instead of the road. It was a small bus and very uncomfortable because of his inconsistant driving. He and the guide talked the entire trip in very loud voices. When the guide spoke it was like a taped feed. She did not talk about what we were seeing along the road, just the history. I would have like more information about what we were seeing along the road. The tour did not stop for photo opportunities along the road, just at places that were prearranged and favorable to the guide. We left after 3 days because of nausea caused by the driving and yelling if the driver and guide.

Excellent tour. The tour was professionally managed from start to finish. Our guide, Joy, was excellent in her story telling and I've learnt so much about Classical Greece on this tour. Long distances are covered so there is quite a bit of coaching but the bus was big and comfortable and the driver was excellent.

The arrangement of the trip is great. We explored different places in Greece, and the guide Anthony could give us a lot of details about the history of the places.

It's a great way to see many historical sites. Stathi was an excellent tour guide, and I am a very happy customer.

Tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable! I enjoyed the trip for the most part except for meals. It would be nice to know ahead what the meal plan is like and not have a buffet for both breakfast and lunch. We could've gotten something at a rest stop and not a buffet. Also, be aware of where they drop you off at the end of the tour. We were dropped off quite far away from our hotel with all of our luggage on a busy street and had to call a taxi. Our hotel was on the list for pickup and drop off.
