Super leisurely cycle around the less touristy bits of the city. Very interesting to get away from the well trodden areas and experience real Berlin off the beaten track. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Not even the heavens opening spoilt what was a great 3 hours cycling. Throughly recommend.

The commentary was full and frank. Lots of questions were asked and our guide knew the answer to them all. We stopped to explore one area of the tour but I didn't think it necessary.

Fabulous bike ride! We enjoyed getting to see less touristy parts of Berlin, and our guide, Rico, was super knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and safe.

We had an excellent tour with Theo on 15 June 2025. Having already done some mainstream museums, historical tours, and miles of walking, we wanted to bike and to see less touristy things off the beaten path. This alternative Berlin tour was perfect! Theo is a super-knowledgeable, dynamic guide with an incredible command of English. The tour is fascinating and fun, and we felt thankful to see so much of "alternative" Berlin. We loved our tourmates as well! We enthusiastically recommend touring with Free Berlin and Theo!!

I was looking for Berlin's famous counterculture. This was a glance at how much and how fast Berlin is changing. Ricco was passionate, knowledgeable and fun.

Really interesting guided cycling tour taking in the less touristy areas. Great guide with loads of information on how Berlin has developed and is continuing to develop particularly from a social history perspective.

Very nice guide who told us personal stories. It's good to see parts of Berlin slightly off the beaten track. Wear tight trousers because the bike chain gets them dirty...

Karl was an amazing guide, so full of local knowledge, as he grew up in Kreuzberg, the primary area of the tour. My only disappointment was not being able to have time to stop and take a quick photo of sights along the way between scheduled stops, since our group was too large. (We were just 6 in his English speaking group, and he had already begun introductory comments in which he said at each stop we would also have time share who we were and where we were traveling from, but at the last minute another group of 6 was added to our group, making Karl's job much more difficult, reducingthe personal touch we'd have enjoyed with the original size). Regardless, Karl was top notch in all respects and I would not hesitate to hire this company for another tour.

The tour was great, we appreciated how it was organised and the route it followed. Jack was really talkative and so cool, we liked how he gave the prospective of a non-Berliner who loves the city.
