Unforgettable Châteauneuf-du-Pape Wine & Lunch from Avignon

We had a wonderful day with Brigitte touring the wineries. Lots of very interesting information on the region and good wines.

This day tour to Chateau Neuf du Pape exceeded my expectations. We visited three wineries and enjoyed a lovely two course luncheon at a chateau. Our hosts shared so much information about the grape growing and wine making in the region. The second tasting at Saint Patrice was a highlight as we were treated to a vertical tasting of five vintages. The van was very comfortable and our driver/guide Brigitte was fantastic. In addition to being so completely enjoyable, this tour is a fantastic value. I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic day with Thierry! He was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to three amazing vineyards, each with its own character and excellent wines. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch in a beautiful setting — the perfect break between tastings. I learned more about wine on this tour than I had on any previous ones. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, but the wines were so good that we couldn’t resist sending some home. The tour was an incredible value — honestly, we would have happily paid double for the experience!

Booking was straightforward. Our tour guide was Nicolas..charming, informative, patient and an amazing driver with immense reversing skills. We were in a group of 8…great company. We went to three vineyards..Mouchon in Seguret, a private cellar Les Caves St Charles and the final was a working vineyard -Chateau La Nerthe. The lunch organised was top class - a two course meal with a lovely glass of wine. Seguret is a very pretty place and the vineyard there is relatively young but wines are delicious. Les Caves- the private cellar was my favourite..the quality of wine in the tastings sold themselves. They ship if you buy a minimum of 6. I would highly recommend this company and would certainly go with them again. The fee might appear high but it was welll worth it for a full day tour with lunch included.

My husband and I had the most incredible day of touring the beautiful Châteauneuf du Pape region with our guide, David Jankers. He picked us up right at our hotel, and we did tastings at three locations (he selected incredible spots) each more beautiful than the one prior. We sampled incredible wines! David is extremely knowledgeable about wines of the region and wine, in general, and happily answered any and all of our questions throughout the day. Would highly recommend a wine tasting day with David - it was a memorable time we certainly will never forget!

Even for well travelled wine tourists this will be a Very informative experience. Nico was very helpful and flexible in changing to itinerary to cater for our needs. Superb experience with Châteauneuf-du-Pape sommelier and some wonderful vineyards and wine.

David was awesome! He was friendly, informative and had a great sense of humor. His knowledge of the area and the wine was fantastic. The wineries we visited were great. Friendly and delicious wine! Highly recommend the tour and you def want David. He took us to places you wouldn’t know to go! Lunch was not only delicious but the views were stunning as well! Don’t hesitate to take this tour!

Great day wine tour of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Nico was very knowledgeable about the region and about wine and winemaking. He made it a fun experience testing our knowledge and teaching us what we didn’t know. We visited two wineries and Cave wine shop that’s located just below the Chateau. Tasted some amazing wines and learned about the different styles of wine from the region. And bought wine to ship back home. Couldn’t ask for a better variety of experiences in one day.

Brigette was a knowledgeable guide throughout the experience. We met very nice people from the US in our group. The wine tasting hosts were very entertaining and we learned a lot. We highly recommend this tour!
