Paris Art Unlocked: Centre Pompidou Skip-Line Masterclass

We enjoyed the tour very much, we got lots of knowledgeable insights into the history of the building, its architecture and the concept of the museum as well learnt a lot about modern culture history and which role France played in it. We can truly recommend this tour.

We had overlooked the Pompidou Museum on previous trips to France and finally decided to pay a visit. My friend had been to the museum before but my experience tells me that a guide usually makes the experience more delectable. Our tour guide Sunday (yes, that’s her name 😀) was exactly that and more. Absolutely passionate and knowledgeable about art, she provided valuable information about the most remarkable works. We spent hours in conversation with her as we would with a dear friend who knows a lot about the museum and the collections. No wait in line and in our case, a totally private tour that made for time so well spent. Could go all over again, as I’m sure Sunday would have a lot more knowledge to spread, things to say and stories to tell about the art works, the artists and their significance. Absolutely recommended!

Such a wonderful experience! Our guide Belen was extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand the major differences between the art housed in this museum compared to the others like the Louvre and Orsay. Definitely inspired me to become more of a contemporary art fan. She even provided priceless information about the museums upcoming renovation, and I’m so glad I booked this before it temporarily closes. I absolutely recommend booking a tour with Belen if you’re looking to make the most out of your visit to the Pompidou Center 😌

Sunday is very knowledgeable about art history, with a passion for art of the 29th and 20th centuries. She was very helpful in helping us to appreciate, "see" and "feel" the modern art in the Georges Pompidou Museum. As an Australian, her English is impeccable. If you are considering a tour at the Orsay or Pompidou, I strongly recommend asking for Sunday.
