Cartagena Unveiled: Historic City & Hidden Gems Tour

Tour was outstanding and our guide was exceptional. I would recommend this tour to other friends and family.

Terribly over priced. I was expecting a little bit more out of this tour considering I spent over $200.00 for me and my son. Pickup from the airport was convenient. There are less expensive tours some even free that offer more than what I got out of this tour.

We were only in port for a short time. We were met at the cruise port by Rafael, our guide, and Victor (?), our driver. Raphael was friendly, informative, and spoke terrific English! In four hours we got to see far more than any of the big bus tours from the ship. Rafael has great love love his city and knows its history well. The driver manuevered through traffic and got us close to all the places we visited. Rafael took us on a walking tour through the Old City. I highly recommend this tour, especially for cruise excusions with limited time.

I was a solo traveler with mobility issues. The guide was extremely helpful in accommodating my needs. I had a couple of problems when booking online, the major one that I there was no space to nominate my hotel for pick up. Also worrying was the ticket issued with no time given for the pick up. The guide was knowledgeable and polite. Despite the fact that I indicated clearly I was not interested in purchasing any emeralds or souvenirs, I was taken to a shop where I spent 10 uncomfortable minutes fending insisting emerald sales pitch. I would give this tour a 3 out of 4 in general.

My wife and I, were wintering, in Curacao. We were looking for, another place to visit, for few days.We checked with Does Travel, @ Mambo Beach, and they were very helpful. Because Aruba was way too expensive, we were able to choose Cartagena, for much less.Luckily for us, I saw a post from a friend, who was visiting Cartagena, at the time, and I asked for suggestion, on tours, and transport.She suggested Fred Arrieta Osorio + 57 300 817 5086.He picked us up, and dropped, us off at the airport. We used him for three days, with no regrets. We visited, the mud volcano, the bird sanctuary, on Baru Island, playa Blanco. We did a city tour, Barrinquilla with him. Too much to write here.

My hotel recommended this tour company and I couldn't be more happy with the service. They accommodated my last-minute request for a private tour. Everything was kept professional and safe from the moment I booked my tour up until I was dropped off to my hotel. Cheo was funny and kept the tour alive. I was lucky to have him as my tour guide. Also, the included private driver made everything convenient. We were taken to the specific places I wanted, so we avoided wasting time. Cheo's familiarity with the city enabled me to see so much of Cartagena. He made sure to meet all of my requests and customize my tour based on what I wanted to see, specifically. He even insisted on carrying my backpack because he didn't want me to have a hard time and instead, he wanted to make sure that I really enjoy seeing the beauty of Cartagena without worrying about my belongings. I highly recommend Cartagena Caribbean Tours. If you want to have a top-notch tour, don't think twice and contact them for your next adventure.
