From Chania, we head eastwards to start our day tour of the Akrotiri peninsula. Our first stop is the small, secluded, sandy beach of Macherida. The beach is named after the wild gladioli (Gladiolus italicus) that grow in the fields behind the beach during the spring. We then continue towards the sandy, protected beach of Stavros, well-known from the film “Zorba the Greek”. After a swim (and maybe a dance?) we jump onboard and circle the north side of the headland stopping at the narrow creek of Katholiko, at the mouth of the narrow and impressive gorge.. the deep blue sea invites us to cool off! Next up, is Seitan Limani beach, where we enjoy the crystal, turquoise waters from our boat, away from the crowds. Not far away, we come to Marathi island and beach, a wonderful place to stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we make our way back to the old harbour of Chania, if we´re lucky, we might see turtles!

Our family of six (kids ranging in age from 8-20) all had an amazing day! Highly recommend! Trip highlight. Jimmy was an incredible captain. He adapted the schedule to accommodate our interests.

Easily the best part of our trip - the boat was super functional, Pavlos an excellent captain (he even made us some amazing snacks al fresco), and the water/stops were incredible.

Wonderful boat trip visiting a range of secluded coves in the beautiful waters around the coastline of Chania. From booking until return it was exceptional service. Our skipper Christos was brilliant - knowing when to chat and give us tips and knowledge of the area and when to leave us to relax and take in the views in peace. Lovely lunch provided on board too. We were a family group, age range 16 to nearly 60. Would Definitely recommend.

This was a highlight of our 14 day trip to Greece. Pablo made the day perfect. I highly recommend this private trip. We went to several tiny beaches only accessible by boat.

Nikolas, who manages the business, was really helpful and gave pertinent advice about the weather (when to rent and when not to rent). Tasso, our skipper for the day, was a nautical gem - understood the sea and took us to the marvellous small bays and coves around Marathi - crystal clear water and great for snorkelling. A wonderful boat trip.
