The trip ran smoothly from start to finish. The pick up time and place was confirmed the night before and they turned up like planned. The blue grotto boat trip was amazing. The market was a great experience although very busy on a very hot day. We still enjoyed the trip.

The Blue Grotto and Sunday Market at Marsaxlokk Fishing Village Tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Daiva, is one of the most wonderful women I’ve ever met. Her knowledge about Malta is outstanding, and she explained everything with so much passion and clarity. She was very polite and respectful, especially in the way she spoke with our driver, Lali. It was heartwarming to see such a good connection between them. Lali drove us safely and comfortably throughout the tour. I’m truly happy and would love to join more tours with Daiva. Highly recommend this tour and the whole team!

Maria was great. We had plenty of time at each location. A reasonable fitness level is required for the walk to the boat tour and into the village from the bus drop off point. It was a very memorable day. I recommend this tour.

While it was windy, the tour was great. There was a delay because of the buses had some issues and had to replace. Went to the Blue Grotto and saw the seven different caves. It was so awesome and blue (which is my favorite color); keep in mind, visiting this on a tour is not always a guarantee based on wind and water conditions. You can walk or take some transportation that costs a $1. I think it is a car. The fishing village was very nice as well. You could literally spend a whole day there but two hours or so. Highly recommend. I probably would not procrastinate.

The trip in the little boat to the Grotto was enjoyable, but felt very pressured as the queue to get on a boat was long and we were given a set time to get back to the bus. The same applied to the market. Although a beautiful fishing village by the time we managed to get a drink and a quick snack, (by which time we were desperate) it was time to head back to the bus.

Marilyn was amazing arranging taxi's to here there and everywhere. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be seeing her again. More taxis and maybe a trip to sickly next time. 10/10

This was another stop on the hop on hop off bus. I went on a Wednesday and there were a few craft stalls selling beautiful handmade table linens and jewelry. But most of the stalls had tourist merchandise you can find anywhere: Malta hats, tees, small ceramics etc. A walk around the bustling, picturesque harbor is worth the trip, followed by a drink at one of the small cafes while watching the world go by. You can go on a boat trip round to Blue Grotto from Marsaxlokk. However, I hopped back on the bus and it was a couple of stops after. I was hoping to go on a boat trip when I got there, but the grotto was only open to swimmers and the boats were not running. If I had known I would have taken a swimsuit as the water looked really inviting

Disappointed no air con on coach. Coach parked far away from market. Walk in and back midday sun spoilt whole experience

A very pleasant half-day tour if a little tight on time at the destinations. Blue Grotto visit is only possible by boat (and, of course, in appropriate sea conditions!): €10pp extra payable in cash at the quayside. Certainly worth it, we thought, to explore the several sea caves under the cliffs with their eponymous bright waters. (Otherwise, just a pleasant little harbour with a few colourful luzzijiet.) Although without compromising safety, the little boats were packed with passengers, and those sitting in front or at the side had the better experience and the greater ease of photography. Marsaxlokk (South Port) still very much a picturesque fishing village (despite the power station on the seaward skyline!) with an extensive fish market of small stallholders selling all kinds of catch, and with traditional, colourful luzzijiet with their eyes of Horus still very much in evidence amongst the other vessels - the only place on the island, it seems, with such a traditional scene today. The Sunday market was much more that just a fish market - and very crowded with locals and tourists. The tour allowed just enough time to visit the market and to grab a pleasant fish lunch at a quayside restaurant. Mark facilitated the visits well and provided some interesting commentary not only on the destinations but on other aspects of Maltese life whilst we were travelling aboard the bus.

Booked at the last minute as I really wanted to see The Blue Grotto again as I hadn't been since a child. Upon queuing for the Grotto boat trip, I was barged out of the way by another tour group and the ticket office closed just before I got there due to the waves getting too choppy. I informed my guide (can't remember her name, sorry!) who politely but persistently persuaded the staff to sell me a ticket, THANK YOU! The Grotto tour was amazing, seeing the beautiful geology and crystals in the water. However I could completely understand why the tours were being closed down as the sea was getting a bit rough. Then on to Marsaslokk for the market, which was nice but very crowded. Wasn't anything there that really piqued my interest. On Tuesday night I did the evening tours of Valletta, Mdina, and Mosta with Vincent being our guide, who gave a fascinating insight into Malta's history. Got to see an amazing 5D show in Valletta, the beautiful quiet streets and views in Mdina, and the outside of Mosta dome (only literally stopped in Mosta for 5 minutes, it just has the dome and nothing else). Hello Malta Tours are highly recommended by me! 🙂
