Unforgettable Ayutthaya: Private UNESCO & River Cruise

I cannot say enough about this trip and how wonderful Gwen and Non were. They were so friendly and so knowledgeable and so accommodating throughout. They adjusted the itinerary according to our preferences and kept everything moving at a good pace: not too long or too short at any one stop. The temples were incredible, and Gwen was able to answer all of our questions about Thai history, culture, etc. She also arranged a delicious lunch looking over one of the temples. On top of all this, she helped me find an outfit at one of the shops, bought us a delicious snack from the market, and took incredible photos of us. Definitely worth the money for a private tour. Be sure to request Gwen and Non!

Our guide Gwen and our driver Gai were fabulous! We can't recommend them more highly. Both made our trip really enjoyable. Gwen is an absolute wealth of information, there was nothing she couldn't answer. Would recommend this to anyone.

The van (driver plus guide) picked my friends and I up at our hotel on time. On our drive our guide gave us a detailed history of the region and the temples which really helped put everything into context. Our guide (army) was so knowledgeable and considerate. I highly recommend.

From one day before our tour we knew we made the perfect choice, they left us a note with the relevant information about the tour in our hotel so we don’t have to worried about anything. Everything was great from the first moment. Johnny our tour guide went that extra mile so we could have a perfect day in our private tour to Ayutthaya, he’s very knowledgeable, have a great personality and gave us some great information in every stop we made and answers every question we had along the way. Water, refreshing towels and a perfectly working A/C every time we get into the transport help the whole day being really enjoyable. If you’re visiting Bangkok for just a couple of days I would highly recommend doing this tour! And don’t forget to ask for Johnny!

Me and my wife booked this tour for our Honeymoon in Bangkok. We were not disappointed. The day started out being picked up from our hotel in a limousine with fresh water and Air con. Our tour guide Peter was very pleasant and was extremely knowledgeable when answering any of our questions. Our sight seeing around Watphrahrihan, Watmahathat, Watyaichaimongkol and the boat trip were all amazing and extremely Tranquil; with great insight into both Siam history, Thai culture and Buddhist ideology. Would highly recommend if you only have a few days in Bangkok like we did.

Our Ayutthaya day trip with Johnny and driver Tony from Quality Thai Guide was amazing! Everything ran perfectly—from Tony’s smooth driving to Johnny’s captivating stories about Thai history and culture. He brought each temple to life with humor and passion, and every stop was timed beautifully. The boat tour was peaceful, complete with a traditional fish-feeding ritual, and Johnny even arranged a delicious local lunch for us. Gwen knows her stuff! Her knowledge made for some really interesting conversations that kept us informed and entertained all day. They picked us up in the morning and drove us to the different temples, no issues at all. We loved the pace of the tour; we did a lot but it was never too much. They were very accommodating to our preferences, stopping when we needed, or spending more time in a place we really wanted to. Gwen is a great tour guide; we loved how enthusiastic she was, and she was able to explain things really well. We all felt like we’d learned so much about the history of Thailand. Would recommend this tour to anyone!

Loved this tour. Army was an absolutely fantastic tour guide for us around Ayutthaya. He was very knowledgeable about each temple site, the history of the region and his english is very fluent. He also answered the hundreds of questions we sent his way. If you are looking for a tour guide around Bangkok or Ayutthaya, Army is the perfect choice. O was also a safe driver and his bus was very comfortable with cold waters waiting for us after every stope
