We had a great 1.5 days visiting Tongli Water Town and Suzhou (gardens, rickshaw ride, Pingjiang/Shantang Road). Brenda was a very knowledgeable and informative guide and explained everything clearly. The whole trip was very convenient, well organised, and enjoyable.

My guide, Ryan, made this one day tour worth every minute. We saw some key highlights of the city (including a river cruise in the fog which made for wonderful moody photos!) but it was the information and insights shared by Ryan that made every location come alive. There were also 2 things not on the itinerary that I wanted to do and Ryan made those happen! Amazing guide and worthwhile experience.

My tour in Shanghai was Amazing! My guide James was very good at explaining the history and culture of Shanghai. James was always very punctual and managed the transition times from each site we visited to ensure that I saw as much as possible. He made sure that I was always ok and guided me through the city's important attractions like a true professional. It takes a great guide to experience a great city like Shanghai, he proved that.

We were in excellent hands with James. He is very knowledgeable about Shanghai and about China in general - its history, traditions, and economy. He guided us throughout the main visits included in our tour, explaining things in detail at all attractions. He also provided tips on where to go at night, where to eat (especially traditional Shanghainese food), and other places of interest to visit. He speaks very good English and was available via WeChat at all times during our stay in Shanghai.

This was our second time touring China with TravelChinaGuide and we are happy that we did. We really enjoyed having Ryan as our tour guide. He is funny, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the city's history and landmarks. The tour pace was just right, we don't feel rushed at each places. We liked how the tour is catered for our small group of two people. Thank you Ryan, Wendy, and TravelChina guide for making our Shanghai trip a pleasant and memorable one. We hope to visit China again with your tour in the future!

Shanghai was very different to the other cities we had visited in China. It was interesting to see the historical colonial architecture alongside the modern skyscrapers. James was a fantastic guide, talking us through everything, telling us about the history of the city and answering all our questions. He also noticed when my parents were starting to get tired and paced it well. James and our lovely driver, Tony were very flexible as we wanted to change our itinerary to see the Shanghai tower and they made it happen! James also went out of his way to send us suggestions on additional things we could do in Shanghai in our own time. Tony too was incredibly sweet and was such a joy to be around despite the language barrier. Overall, highly recommend!

Sean was an incredible guide! Friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories that brought Shanghai to life. From the historic Bund to hidden local gems, Yu Gardens, and our day trip to Suzhou, every moment was memorable. His passion for the city and attention to detail made the experience seamless and unforgettable. Highly recommend Sean to anyone visiting Shanghai!

We really enjoyed our few days in Shanghai with James Xu. The history of the Bund area, the water town and boat ride (great views of the finance district) were time well spent. Our guides English was excellent and he also knew a lot of information/history about the areas he was taking us.

We had an excellent one day tour of Shanghai with our guide Margarita. There was only us on the tour, which was great as we moved at our pace. The attractions we visited were all very good and we returned again later in the evening by ourselves to the Yuyuan market. The driver and car were very good which made getting around the city easy. Thank you Margarita for a great tour!

We had a great time in Shangai! I highly recommend this trip. Mei, our guide, was sweet, helpful and answered all of our questions. Shangai is a big city with a lot of great people and history. Don't miss it!
