Our experience is really special because of the ecosystem of the lagoon. It is very common to come across manatees that feed on seagrass and that live in harmony with so many other marine species that live there. The lagoon is an important natural reserve that is protected for study and conservation as it is part of the San Juan Bay estuary. It also has a community of natural and artificial reefs that make the experience even richer. The flora, the mangroves, the landscape and how the species live in their natural ecosystem is an experience added to the sport to be performed in the lagoon.

This was such a fun experience! This was our first time paddleboarding and our guides Joshua, Alex, and Diri/Dire were so informative and sweet. The tour was about an hour long but it was just enough time because this was a WORKOUT. Highly recommend!!!!

Best Kayaking Tour Ever – Thanks to Kyler, Zavick, and Giselle! I’ve done kayaking tours in a few places, but nothing compares to this VIP experience. Kyler was professional and personable, making us feel comfortable from the start. Zavick had an amazing sense of direction and shared stories that added depth to the journey. Giselle’s attention to detail—from refreshments to personalized touches—made this feel like a private, luxury getaway. Everything ran smoothly, and the views were stunning. Truly unforgettable.

Our instructor was late which cut our tour short, which was pretty disappointing. The views were nice and I learned a bit of a history lesson. George, and Lucas were nice. The lagoon was conveniently located three minutes from our Airbnb which was why we chose this particular location but I am sure there are many more kayaking options that are much nicer.

Overall, this experience did not feel like a guided tour as advertised. It felt more like a loosely organized group of people simply kayaking through the lagoon on their own. There was little to no guidance or informative commentary provided during the activity. I was also disappointed that my kayak wasn’t fully lit as described, which took away from the glow-in-the-dark effect that was one of the main reasons I booked this excursion. Additionally, I didn’t see any marine life, which was another aspect I had been looking forward to based on the tour description. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations, and I left feeling disappointed.
