Eduardo was an excellent guide for an excellent day in Tarragona and Sitges. History, beautiful scenery, sun and sand, and a great lunch recommendation (Casinet). Highly recommended.

Lluis was an excellent tour guide. As we drovee out of Barcelona, heading to Tarragona, he shared historical info and pointed out places of interest. We stopped at Roman acqueduct and took short walk to actually stand on top of it. Lluis provided detailed information about building and use of the acqueduct. In Tarragonna, we had a little time to grab a snack and get souvenir. Then, Lluis took us on a great walking tour of beautiful Tarragona. Seeing the Roman amphitheater, circus, old walls and towers, passing by beautiful old churches and storefronts and down original small alley streets, as Lluis shared history and provided a mind's picture of how it was in Roman days was very interesting and educational. Hubby was very impressed with Lluis' driving through heavy traffic, closed streets, and crazy motorcyclists zooming and cutting through. Very glad that we took this tour and had Lluis as our guide.

Part two of our time in Barcelona took us outside the city for the day to two seaside towns south of the city, Tarragona and Sitges with a stop at another impressive Roman aqua duct along the way. Our guide, Diego, was such a wealth of knowledge with an obvious zest for language, history and culture. Terragona is beautiful, history-filled, yet way less crowded than Barcelona. We wound through the streets on foot, stopping for some white wine typical of the region and touring the Roman ruins, particularly the circus, which was used for chariot racing. Sitges was our lunch stop with our restaurant facing the sea and serving fresh food from it too. We even got to put our feet in the water before meeting back up with the group for the drive home. Diego let us choose our route back as a fun bonus, too.

First of all, Eduardo — 1000 out of 10! What an incredible experience from start to finish. Not only did he make us feel so welcome, but he truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. He greeted us right at our door — such a thoughtful touch! Throughout the trip, Eduardo shared so many interesting facts about Barcelona, its history, and Spanish culture. He answered all our random questions and even gave us amazing local tips — including a fantastic lunch spot we never would’ve found on our own. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does. The highlight of our trip! Eduardo, again, such a gem!

An intimate day trip in a van (8 seats) with the very friendly and knowledgeable Diego. Unlike my other day tour in a large bus, I got acquainted with the group quickly and we shared a leisurely lunch over wine and convo. Will definitely recommend this itinerary as well as the format of the tour!

Great day out with Eduardo. He was very knowledgeable and explained expertly the history of Tarrangona and Stiges. He also recommended a good place to have a typical Catalan meal at Stiges. In spite of the rain in the morning - Eduardo ensured that the Group was well taken care of - in particular ensuring that the places of interest were safe to visit in the wet weather. He was thoughtful and careful. We had a wonderful day out!
