Unveiling Tarragona: Exclusive Roman Empire Private Tour

Diego was absolutely fantastic! The content of the tour, the locations we visited, and the museum were all wonderful, but it was Diego’s warm, personal, and informative approach that made this a one-of-a-kind experience. I wish it could have lasted all week! This was a special and memorable day.

Tarragona is a fascinating location, the one-time capital of the Romans in Spain some 2,000 years ago. Much has been preserved, not only of the Romans but also of the city's Medieval heritage. A great add-on for any trip to Barcelona. Guide Ramon was top-notch, a veritable Wikipedia of cultural and historical lore about the region...and he'll include some real estate tips!

We had a wonderful time with Miquel. He is knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He is also an excellent driver. Tarragona is a beautiful city and the Roman structures and remains awe inspiring, especially the Ferreres Aqueduct. This half-day tour should be at the top of your to do list for any visit to Barcelona.

I can not say enough about the time we spent with our tour guide Miquel. We arranged 2 full days of personal touring of various locations in Barcelona and surrounding areas. Miquel was extremely knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited. He provided the history and also great conversation as we toured. He made you feel so safe as we drove the fast moving roads and always put our safety first. Miquel’s balance of a guided tour and unguided time was perfect. He also gave us valued “must sees” of the city that we would not have known about otherwise. I loved our time with Miquel!!!

Miguel was once again a honor to be able to show us the aqua ducts and the Tarragona i have never felt safer with him driving us around he is very knowledgeable which made the day Thank you Miguel

Ruben was great; excellent English, good communications, prompt, aware of and offering comfort and solutions when the two of us elder tourists were dragging from the heat and multiple steps. I am so grateful for his attention and care. He has a fountain of knowledge about anything we asked him. We could not have had a better guide!

Ramon was a very knowledgeable guide. I recommend a tour with a knowledgeable guide that can show where the ruins are and how the current town has built up on top of them.
