Best shore excursion of a bucket list item to visit Salem! Maria was exceptional and very knowledgeable at guiding us via a walking tour of Salem and of all of the planned places we wanted to visit and more. (Bewitched, Salem witch trials /memorials, cemetery , Hocus-pocus sites) Also time for a little shopping, pick up and drop off at cruise port was perfect and on time! We also had time to drive by sites in Boston for quick pictures. hey, another booking with Boston Hidden Gems Maria in the future! Highly recommended and appreciated how fun , friendly and on time Maria was with our tour.

Terrific day in Salem learning of the history of the town as well as the witch trials with detailed, in depth information. Our guide, Jenny, was engaging, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We could modify to suit our preferences throughout the day since it was a private tour (husband had difficulty walking as the day progressed, so Jenny accommodated the itinerary to make him comfortable). Great communication from the tour company from the time we booked months ago through the day of. Very convenient pick up and drop off at the cruise port. Would definitely book with them again.

We had an amazing time with Alexandria. She is incredibly engaging and a great story teller. We learned so much about Salem and Boston. She had so much interesting information about the witch trials in Salem, both my kids and I loved how interesting she made the information sound. Also while in Salem, we managed to go in to a super cool shop called Professor Spindlewink’s World of Wizardry, where we got kids cool wands and did a fantasy magic adventure. It was super fun and Alexandria was nice enough to join us. From there we went to the Boston Public Market and had the most delicious food recommended by Alexandria - Red’s Best for clam chowder and Beantown Pastrami Company for pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. Afterwards she met us and took us to North End and gave us a lot of history and interesting information. We asked her for a cannoli recommendation and once again she didn’t disappoint - we had the best cannoli from Bova’s bakery. Our tour then continued with a drive through the city and ended when she dropped us off at the airport. It was a really awesome full day tour!

Jennifer’s knowledge on events and people was interesting and amazing, as was her flexibility to adapt to what we wanted. We enjoyed her stories. Her voice and personality are perfect for this job. She made our trip to Boston. I highly recommend this trip to Boston and Salem in one day, it goes by so fast.

We really enjoyed the tour that Jenny from Hidden Gems Tour did for us. We learned a lot about Salem and parts of Boston history.
