I am glad that we had a guide because the medina would have been too difficult to navigate. Yes we visited lots of crafts shops but they were interesting and we wouldn’t have found them otherwise.

Excellent experience with Hiba Tours. one of the best and authentic ways to discover Fes, The blue city and the Sahara Desert. Hiba tours staff was extremely helpful and know the cities really well. The car we drove around in was clean and comfortable. He took us to local food restaurants for an authentic Moroccan experience. Throughout the tour we felt as if we were truly apart of the community here. We were really knowledgeable leaving Morocco as he took us to many historic sites and unique and interesting stopovers. 11/10 experience.

Ali provided our family an excellent, informative and safe trip around Fes. We had hired his services to discover the outside area of Fes Medina which covered the surrounding hills , Jewish area, kings palace and cemetery and some other places that I don’t remember the name. He was funny and knowledgeable and kept us entertained.

so...this was not your average tour, i actually met Abdulla (Ali) while out in the merzouga desert and he invited me to take a tour of Fes with him if i was ever in town which i was shortly after. What an incredible few days, I saw the medina and souks of Fes, went to the local waterfalls, scenic spots, panoramic views of the city and out to where people live in caves. Now i'm sure you can find such guides anywhere but what made this special was that i stayed with Ali at his farmstay on the outskirts of the city. I ate meals with him and his friends, went to an authentic hammam for a 'bath,' walked with his dogs at sunrise and was generally treated like a friend for the few days I was there. I was picked up in the centre and dropped off at the station, I'm definitely going to return, hopefully with family or friends to introduce them to this kind of adventure, it's not luxury...but it's real and was a really wonderful experience which made my stay in Fes really enjoyable and a pleasant surprise for a solo traveller.

We thoroughly enjoyed all that Abdhul showed us and his great knowledge of the land.He was very pleasant and fun at the same time and his english is very good. On top of that he is a good nurse, as I damaged my hand he made a fantastic dressing that kept the injury at bay. Well done Abdhul 😊
