Geres National Park Private Tour: Portugal's Wild Heart

We, a party of four from overseas, took the tour with P. Rosario and thoroughly enjoyed it. The park was peaceful and quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. The lunch inside the park was also excellent with very friendly service. What's more enjoyable was P. Rosario's company. We chatted all day starting with the attraction then moved on to many other topics including nature, culture, history and sports. All in all it was an amazing experience and thanks to P. Rosario for making it happen!

We absolutely loved our day out with Daniel. He chose a great lunch spot-it was delicious. Daniel was kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. We had varying levels of fitness in our group and he adjusted accordingly. The area is beautiful and you can see he loves it. Thank you for taking such good care of us and making sure we had a great day out.

Pedro was a fantastic guide and we had a truly wonderful time with great conversations. He showed us some very breathtaking views and was one of the best tours we ever had. We learned a lot, ate well, and saw some amazing wildlife. Thank you, sincerely, from Rachael and Nathan. Blessings!

We had a phenomenal day with Mia as our guide on our full day private tour of Peneda-Gerês National Park. What an adventure! Mia was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, humorous, and very professional. He lead us through hidden paths, over boulders, to secluded pools where we swam in cold, crystal clear waters and to scenic overlooks. We felt safe as we explored the area and hiked the trails. We had one of our best meals of our entire trip at a small, family owned restaurant and finished our day at a cute cafe. A perfect day in every way.

Fabulous day out. Our guide knew the park inside and out and took us to great spots while avoiding crowded spots on a popular day. The village we visited was remarkable, as were the views from so many locations. We had a refreshing dip in cool clear water. Our guide was also highly attentive with careful concern for our safety and our interests. Highly recommend.

I hesitated about booking this trip because of the cost but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Petito took us on hikes to two different waterfalls as well as to a local village for lunch and to some beautiful viewpoints. It was a great balance of driving, walking and swimming and the scenery and waterfalls were amazing. I highly recommend it as a great way of seeing more of Penedes Geres.

A perfect way to see and experience Geres. Marco was an expert guide who ensured a memorable experience by taking us to see hidden treasures and explaining the history and geography. A MUST do trip in N Portugal.

Beautiful national park, weather this time of year was perfect for short hikes, tour guide Pedro Rosario was really nice and an excellent driver. Would come back.
