Breathtaking Triple Waterfall Adventure: An Unforgettable Day

Nelson was a fantastic guide. It was truly an amazing day and we loved every minute of the day. I would highly recommend this day trip as the waterfalls were all amazing to see. If you love nature and hiking you will love this trip.

The park was wonderful great views and so glad to see the Portuguese are doing so much to protect it. Noah was a great guide. I just did not realise that hiking involved very steep climbs up and down slippery granite rocks. I am fit but in my sixties so it was hard but Noah was very patient. There should have been a warning about how physical it was.

The guide showed up and took my 60 Euros extra to pick us up in the hotel, and then his car broke down just outside of Braga. It took 90 minutes for a replacement car to arrive, and no partial refund was offered. At lunch the guide had two beers, which surprised us and really worried my wife, who felt unsafe the rest of the day, especially given the tight winding roads that the guide was driving very aggressively. Plus side, the guide did know the park very well, taking us to one secret waterfall he knew about. The park itself is beautiful.

WONDERFUL!! Hard to describe what an incredible experience this day was. So beautiful and stunning. Rui was so great and looked after us perfectly. If in doubt you should definitely book this trip. Highly highly recommended!!!

This visit is a must for those who want to experience the park in a deeper way. Nelson is an amazing guide and knows the park very well. The communication with him has been flawless even before starting the tour. The tour is perfectly balanced between walking/driving and bathing at the waterfalls. The lunch offered was delicious. If I'll have the chance to visit the park again, I'll definitely contact Nelson to have another tour together.

I was very impressed with the way Nelson and Rui were always watching out for our kids. They got in the water with the kids every time. If the kids started exploring, one of our guides was always with them. The views were beautiful. The lunch was amazing!!! Rui and Nelson were fabulous and we all had a great time!

Nelson are your guy was awesome. He let us hike at our own pace and enjoy the waterfalls and hikes. Lunch was wonderful. Definitely recommend but be prepared to ride in a jeep type vehicle. Which was a fun experience.

As soon as my wife visited me in Portugal we decided to do something different. This place os just amazing. You feel like absorbed by nature. Took a while from the city of Braga to get there but completely worth it.

We spent an incredible day with Rui! Our expectations were exceeded beyond words. Our full day tour started with a hotel pickup at 10am sharp. Rui knows the area so well and shares his knowledge using multiple languages as needed. Waterfalls, rivers/streams, swimming holes, and short hikes…what a day! Plus a great lunch at an authentic Portuguese restaurant in one of the Parque’s many small villages. We concluded our time with a nice picnic in the woods! Rui and Gerês Wild & Free Tours will always be our #1 choice of guides in the area!
