1. The Sherlock Holmes Museum is a privately run museum located at 221B Baker Street in London, England. The building is a Georgian townhouse and is decorated as it would have been during the Victorian era, as this is the era in which Sherlock Holmes and his associate Dr. John Watson lived in the stories. The museum features rooms that represent the various locations mentioned in the stories, such as Holmes’ study, Dr. Watson’s bedroom, and 221B’s sitting room, which contains many of Holmes’ personal items. Interestingly, the address of the museum was once a fictional address, as Baker Street did not extend as far as number 221.

2. The museum is open every day from 9:30 am to 6 pm (last admission at 5 pm). The museum’s phone number is +44 (0) 20 7224 3688.

3. Admission to the museum costs £16 for adults, £10 for children ages 5-15, and £14 for students/seniors. There are no guided tours offered, but staff members are available to answer questions. The museum is located near the Baker Street Underground station, which is served by the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Circle, and Hammersmith & City lines.
