1. Augarten is a public park located in the second district of Vienna, Austria. The park covers an area of 52.2 hectares and is home to some interesting sights, including the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory, the Flak Tower, and the Augarten Palace which houses the Vienna Boys’ Choir. The park is also known for its large open green spaces, gardens, and walking trails. In addition, it is a popular spot for picnics, outdoor concerts, and other events.
2. The park is open daily from 6 am until sunset. The Augarten Palace can be visited on guided tours which run from April to June and from September to October, from Tuesdays to Sundays. Tours start at 2.30 pm and last approximately one hour. The park can be reached by public transportation via the U2 subway line, with the closest stop being Taborstraße.
3. Entrance to the park is free of charge. Guided tours of the Augarten Palace cost €10 for adults, €9 for seniors, and €4 for children under the age of 18. It is recommended to book a tour in advance.
