1. Lake Hood is the world’s busiest seaplane base, located in Anchorage, Alaska. It covers an area of 1,500 acres and has over 800 aircraft operations daily during peak season. The lake is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including snow-capped mountains and glaciers. Visitors can take scenic flights on seaplanes or watch the aircraft take off and land from observation areas. Other recreational activities such as fishing and kayaking are also popular.
