Starting point of the excursion: metro Tretyakovskaya, pier "Tretyakovsky"
From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The cost of 600 rubles.
The island in the very center of Moscow has a lot of names: Zolotoy, Baltschug, Bolotny, Sadovniki, Kremlin and even Bezymyanny. This historic area is an artificial island formed in the 1780s during the construction of the Drainage Canal. The history of the island is full of various events: festivities took place and especially dangerous criminals were executed. Excursion "Golden Island" from the "Capital Shipping Company" will tell in more detail.
A walk on the ship along the Vodootvodny Canal with access to the main channel of the Moscow River is organized by the Capital Shipping Company in conjunction with City Sightseeing Moscow. This tour can also be complemented by a city tour program. An audio excursion is carried out by speakerphone on the Stolitsa motor ship, and audio guides are available in four languages on the Stolichny motor ship.
The excursion begins from the pier "Tretyakovsky", which is equipped with a ramp. On motor ships of this route, wheelchair-bound excursions can be accommodated on the lower covered deck. If necessary, sailors will help such passengers board. On the motor ships of this route, the toilets are not suitable for wheelchairs.
The Tretyakov berth is located on the banks of the Vodootvodny Canal. The channel was laid in 1783-1786 along the central bend of the Moscow River near the Kremlin. Previously, this area was swampy and regularly flooded, while in the XVIII century they drew a canal and drained the swamps, thus forming an artificial island.

The first attraction of the tour is the Tretyakov bridge over the canal connecting Bolotnaya Square and Kadashevskaya Embankment. This is a pedestrian bridge, access to which is accessible for wheelchair users. This bridge is part of the architectural ensemble of the Tretyakov Gallery, located nearby. The second, popular name is Kisses Bridge. It was given because of the tradition of the newlyweds to hang locks on the fence of the Tretyakov bridge as a sign of the eternity of their feelings.
Behind the bridge you can see the House on the embankment. Its facades overlook both the Vodootvodny Canal and the Moscow River, so during the walk it will be possible to examine it from two sides. Further from the ship you can see a huge monument to Peter the Great by Zurab Tsereteli. The official name is a monument to the 300th anniversary of the Russian fleet, its height is 98 meters. From here you can also see the Central House of Artists and the Museon Art Park - the largest open-air sculpture museum.
After that, the ship enters the main channel of the Moscow River, rounding the Strelka, beyond which overlooks the shining with gold domes of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. From it, to the opposite bank of the Moskva River, the Patriarchal Bridge is thrown, part of which passes over Bolotnoy Ostrov and overlooks the Yakimanskaya Embankment through the Drainage Canal. This footbridge was opened in 2004. Immediately behind it, on the right bank of the river, the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker is visible, next to it is a gallery with an open colonnade of the Estrada Theater in the House on the embankment. The artistic director of the Variety Theater is currently Gennady Khazanov.
The Bolshoi Kamenny Bridge is the place with a view of the Kremlin, familiar to everyone from postcards. The tour moves along the Kremlin, beyond the walls of which you can see the Armory and the Annunciation Cathedral. Behind them will open a panorama of the historic district of Kitai Gorod, called Zaryadye. The settlement on this site arose even XII-XIII centuries. Until the 1930s, there were many ancient buildings, cultural and architectural monuments that were demolished. In the 60s, the Rossiya Hotel was completed, which stood here until 2006. Now work is underway on the creation of an ultramodern park zone.
Boarding the motor ships of the Capital Shipping Company is also carried out from the pier at the Park of Culture named after M. Gorky. The pier is fully accessible for disabled visitors.
After the Kotelnicheskaya embankment and the Stalinist skyscraper, near the walls of the Novospassky Monastery, the ship unfolds and returns to the Drainage Canal. At the beginning of the 21st century, the Red Hills cultural and business center was erected on the cape at the junction of the river and the canal, the structures of which reproduce the silhouette of a medieval city with fortified walls, a bell tower, a cathedral and a tower (Riverside Towers business center, Swissotel Red Hills hotel and Moscow International House of Music).
Further, the ship passes several bridges - Maly Krasnokholmsky (automobile bridge, which is part of the Garden Ring), pedestrian Zverev bridge and Komissariatsky (highway with tram tracks). Behind them is the building of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, behind which is hidden the temple of Mikhail the Archangel in Ovchinniki. The next notable building is the prestigious Baltschug Plaza business center, three historic buildings and one new, in the style of modern classics.
After that, the ship returns to the starting point of the excursion, the Tretyakov berth. "Tretyakov" berth is equipped with a pan
