I finally made it to Tel Aviv last night and I wanted to tell you all how great EasyJet was.

yes I had that with my transfer from the airport to the hotel. But as my wheel was damaged they helped me make a complaint and that took a lot of the stress away.
the two words I don’t believe in is “always” and “never”.

But my carers husband told me this morning he had £300 stolen from his wallet which was in his jacket in the wardrobe in his room .... on our first day! We’re staying at the Hilton so we didn’t expect it and it was the only thing not in the safe.
Anyway... they’re investigating and we’ll see what happens. But again, I won’t let it ruin my holiday... god damn it!!
Easyjet don’t overbook.
What I found is that it is easy to get the seat you need when the plane is half full. But when it is completely booked, or overbooked, the experience and the ability of getting the front row seat becomes quite different.
How are you getting around in Israel? Be aware that accessible taxi drivers here attempting to charge triple rates

I finally made it to Tel Aviv last night and I wanted to tell you all how great EasyJet was. The crew changed my seat to 1D and told me that if you are PNA (person needing assistance) you can request this seat on ANY airline! They don’t advertise this but he told me they are obligated to give it to us 👍
Although the seat next to me wasn’t free so I couldn’t sit next to my carer, the cabin crew stepped in and helped putting my legs up and getting me whatever I needed. I think this could be hit or miss but I was so impressed. Only downside was when I got my chair back from the hold my right wheel was bent out of shape so I have to see if I get compensation for that, I hope it’s not a battle!
I am staying at the Hilton and again they have been amazingly helpful. God it’s so easy when people step up and help. It doesn’t take much, but those small acts of kindness changes everything and doesn’t make you feel like a freak!
