We went as a group of seven on the modern boat over to Walter Peak Station. Then we got to Walter Peak Station for lunch which was a buffet. What a slick operation. It was so well done. The food was the best that I have eaten for quite a while. Everything: meat, veges and salads and the dessert was superb. We were not expecting that. The farm show was fun and we ended up having a mooch around the shop which had a big warm fire going. This trip really made our visit to Queenstown.

Was what I expected. Beautiful location And interesting Farm tour. Difficult to hear any commentary on boat. Would have appreciated knowing that we were having afternoon tea in the beautiful house and then having the farm tour rather than been shepherded like sheep

Beautiful experience. Sensational atmosphere and the food was amazing. Definitely a great family day out. The knowledge and walk through feeding the animals was so much fun. I like that the animals are looked after well and the lunch was served by staff who were very professional. The shearing was entertaining and our overall experience was pleasant. Can't fault anything!! Although we missed out on experiencing the TSS Earnslaw Steamship which would have been a lovely experience. We were still happy.

As a group of 8, the real Nz crew made us feel comfortable, safe and create a real personable experience despite there being a larger crowd with us! I loved this experience! I couldn't top it and was hands down the best activity I did whilst in Queenstown. After a relaxing and scenic cruise, we were greeted on the dock with our tour guide (a dairy farm raised farmer) and his trusted companion Echo. Once afternoon tea was finished, we headed around the farm feeding a variety of animals and learning a little bit more about the operations of the place. With a demonstration from Echo on hearding, a quick cuddle with two lambs and a demonstration on sheering, we were back on the boat taking in the scenery. A worthwhile experience for the whole family with interactive aspects and information that everyone can understand!
