Ultimate Sloth & Rainforest Safari: Hanging Bridges & Wildlife

We booked this tour for our honeymoon and it was amazing we crossed the hanging bridge in the rainforest, the sounds of rain falling were amazing to hear and sounds of all the wildlife. The tours for the coffee and chocolate fields were both educational and so much fun. Our tour guild was Ernesto and was great 👍 will be booking again when we come back.

The day was a great way to spend exploring Costa Rica with some information about its history and culture. Ernesto did a good job getting us on the road and making sure we were comfortable. It was a lot of driving but that’s because the sites are a pretty good distance apart. We did see some sloths, a Viper and some frogs. No monkeys unfortunately-they hid from us. Lunch was nice and authentic. Service was good and Ernesto was enjoyable.

Manuel & our driver Ado were amazing guides! They took us to do so many activities. We had so much fun and felt very safe. The rainforest, hanging bridges, waterfalls, sloths, and coffee/chocolate tour were so amazing to do all in 1 day! Then we stopped at a gift shop on the way home. They were more than accommodating!

Alejandro was very knowledgeable about the rainforest, the animals, the vegetation, and the area in general. he was genuinely excited about every animal that we encountered. He even had Gustavo turn the bus around so that we could see a slot up in the trees along the highway. The lunch that was arranged was incredibly tasty and the restaurant and the butterfly gardens were amazing. He was very attentive to all of the participants at all times keeping track of where everyone was in line. Alejandro made sure that we all were on the same page and wanted to do the same activities. Gustavo did an amazing job driving it started to rain. The roads were a little scary, but we felt incredibly safe. He always seemed to know where the animals were in the trees and was very quick to point them out with a laser pointer so we could all see them. Thanks to Alejandro we have so many amazing photos from this day.

Alejandro and Gustavo were amazing! Alejandro was so knowledgeable and took time to explain and identify every animal and plant we saw. He was spotting animals that no one else on the tour was seeing (even during the bus ride to the locations). You can tell he has a great passion for his work. Gustavo’s driving ability was very impressive. He handles the tour bus in ways that I've never experienced before (even in the US). They are a great team and I plan to request them again when we return next year.

Alejandro and Adonai ( Otto ) were the BEST. For they are true Costa Ricans so they know the area, EXTREMELY knowledgeable about plants, animals, insects. Explaining everything including the towns we went through. They made the experience. We saw sloths definitely not in a zoo setting but in a rainforest. We saw snakes, frogs. Got the most amazing pictures. Waterfalls were beautiful. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this excursion was. A definite must tour!!!!!!

Staff saw awesome guides Adonis (Otto) and Alejandro were spectacular. Knowledge of the surrounding was amazing and they were fun and bubbly. Saw spiders snakes frogs and a couple sloths so close we couple almost touch them.

This was an exceptional all day tour, which included a great commentary during a rainforest hike, wonderful coffee, and chocolate samplings as well as a very nice lunch. I’d recommend this to anyone who’s looking to get a great experience around the Costa Rican rainforest. Alejandro and our driver were awesome. Informative, friendly, and insured the fact that we had a fabulous time. Highly recommend.
