Thanks to the park for conserving the precious species of creatures in NZ. A well educated trip and happy to see Kiwi birds and hear about their stories.

Wonderful peaceful surroundings in an otherwise bustling town was a welcome reprieve. Staff were super friendly right throughout the park. Special mention for the wonderful young gent presenting the Kiwi presentation. He was knowledgeable, approachable and engaging. Which brings us to the Kiwis themselves. They were so incredible. They were active, they were clearly happy, jumping and eating and showing off. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and was the highlight of our Queenstown sojourn.

Beautiful native bird park. The kiwi experience was amazing, the dark kiwi house allows them to do their nocturnal business you can watch them run around and fossick for food. Several of the bird enclosures you can go into and be up close with the birds.

A lovely place to visit when at Queenstown. Was my first time down in Queenstown and Kiwi Park definitely didn’t disappoint. A great display of Aotearoa New Zealand’s native wildlife, especially the avian diversity in New Zealand. Managed to get to see a couple of kiwis up close in their kiwi house. There are a couple walk through areas and be sure to catch their show as well.

I am a 65-year-old New Zealander and had never really seen a kiwi in real life (Apart from a tiny shadow for a second at the Auckland Zoo once). I was thrilled to see the kiwis at Kiwi Park, who obligingly ran about right in front of me for almost the whole time we were at the Kiwi House presentation. I also learned a lot about the challenges of building a population of kiwis and met some other wonderful birds, especially the Kea. The staff there were very friendly, helpful and informative. Thank you!

Well designed walk so you can see the whole park. Loved the information provided during the kiwi information session and would recommend to others

We had never seen a Kiwi up close before, so this was a first. Lovely well maintained park to wander around. Informative shows. Great location near the Gondola. Absolutely worth a visit.

This was overpriced for sure, but we really enjoyed getting to see kiwis! The kiwis were super active and were right in front of the glass. The kiwis were so cool to see. I personally didn’t care about the rest of the park, but I’m still glad I went just to see the kiwis.

We started with the Conservation show which was very educational and also funny! We saw a Tuatara up close. Next we went to the Kiwi Encounters to see the Kiwis in the nocturnal house. The staff was so great with sharing information and answering our wildlife questions. Afterwards, we visited all the bird exhibits. We especially enjoyed the Kea exhibit.
