Alcatraz & Golden Gate: Iconic Bay Cruise & Island Tour

This was an boat trip ti Alcatraz where you can do an audio guided tour. The audio was well done with interesting facts and historical perspectives of the island. I recommend this trip. The blue and gold cruise to the Golden Gate Bridge was also nice. The only drawback was the difficult process of scheduling and getting my tickets through Trip Advisor

What an amazing experience to have had the chance to see, and immerse yourself in the history, wow just wow. Would highly recommend

Having a fabulous time. San Francisco is amazing. Expensive but worth it. Bring a small jacket. Gets Cool!!!

It was fly season and they were everywhere, ears, eyes, nose, face; they were black swarms all over. Super annoying.

When we were getting off the boat we almost turned around because of the smell and the black flies. The black flies on the boat were disgusting enough, but once we got to Alcatraz it was much worse. They were in everyones hair and on there clothes bouncing off peoples faces and legs. If you go, bring a mask and fly spray. It ruined the experience for us as we weren’t prepared for it. We would have worn long pants, mask and brought spray if we would have known.

Ambiguous up until the last moment. No real confirmation directly to the phone up until I had to ask at the last minute. Well, overpriced and clearly the same experience as if I had just bought a ticket the same day with the other 300 people that takes the boat to Alcatraz. There was no separate Golden Gate expedition so to speak. Yes, you can see it but not worth the hundred plus dollars per person with all the different options. It’s clearly all the same thing. It’s just something that you get away with to us consumers.

The cruise can be chilly. I wish I would’ve known to dress warmer. Everything else was great. Friendly boarding crew. And easy finding locations.

I appreciated that I was able to get tickets last minute since the official Alcatraz website was sold out. I understand that I had to pay a premium for that, so I don't get it when people complain about the price. The only hiccup was they sent me links that didn't work at first, which made me panic cause we were supposed to go the next day. But I sent an email the same day and that night they sent me the correct links. I appreciated the quick response and I would recommend them.

A trip to Alcatraz is a very nice and interesting experience. However a Bay trip is not worth it. Especially if the sky is not totally clear the Bay trip is a waste of the money. We took it only because we were to late to book only a trip to Alcatraz and the only optio to visit Alcatraz was a combo trip Alcatraz + Bay view. I really do not recommend a Bay view trip.
