Unforgettable Ourika Valley: Atlas Mountains Day Trip from Marrakech

The whole experience was incredible, we really enjoyed the tea, bread & dips and the information given about all the oils. All the tour guides were amazing very friendly (i can only remember Fatima's name, sorry !) but everyone made it special. The waterfall tour was also great it is out of my comfort zone as i'm not entirely comfortable hiking in rocky heights but between holding my friends hand, the guide took over and made sure i got to each bit safely. Can't recommend this tour enough. If for health reasons you can't do the hike they do allow you to wait in the nearby restaurant which is also beautiful and everyone meets there at the end.

Yassin our guide is fantastic! and the driver Zacarias, very good driver. The Ourika Valle is a beautiful place, peacefull.

Today we had a wonderful trip to the mountains and valleys with Hamza as our driver. He was extremely polite, helpful, and truly made our day special. My kids especially enjoyed the hiking and the beautiful waterfalls it was the highlight of their day! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Hamza went above and beyond, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great experience.

Everything was perfect except for the fact that our driver Bader drove above the speed limit, overtaking on blind corners all while texting on his phone! It was the most dangerous driving I've ever seen and someone will be killed if he continues to drive this way. As I said, the rest of the trip was absolutely incredible hence why this still gets four stars, minus one for irresponsible driving!

Yassine was very helpful. Arrived on time and collected family. Plans for stops on the route worked very well. Foot tour to go up the mountains and waterfall was well arranged and looked after.

Really informative Argan Oil Cooperative. Highly recommend trainers for the hike up to the Waterfall. Take a rucksack, with a towel if you plan to paddle or swim and water too. Lunch was delicious.

Nice. Loved the waterfall. A long hike up the mountain to get to the waterfall. A side note: you do have to be moderately fit for this hike and not for the feint hearted. Steep slopes and no proper steps. Guide was good. Food was not included but we went a lovely restaurant by the river. Reasonable price. A good family outing. Kids are 13 and 15. Not suitable for very young kids. Whole thing took about 6-7 hours. Including the journeys.

We took a trip to the Ourika Valley, and our guide, Sulaiman, was exceptional. He led the group with great care, especially looking after my 7 year old daughter holding her hand throughout, making sure she was safe, and catching her when she nearly fell. We later had lunch by the river, where my daughter unfortunately had an unavoidable accident and badly cut her foot. That’s when our incredible driver, Hamza, truly became our hero. He stayed by our side, offering support and compassion like a member of our own family. He never left us except to briefly check on the rest of the group, whilst we were in hospital and even then returned quickly, bringing my daughter chocolates and searching for a bunny toy to comfort her as she mentioned she missed hers. Hamza’s kindness was extraordinary, the kind that restores your faith in humanity. He treated us with genuine care and love, the same you’d give your own family. His compassion and selflessness deeply moved us. He is a true asset to your organisation and one of the main reasons we’ll recommend your services to everyone we know. When we return to Marrakesh, we will insist on having Hamza with us again. Even before the accident, Hamza was outstanding, engaging with the children, asking about their lives, sharing stories about Marrakesh, and ensuring everyone was comfortable. When one child mentioned being thirsty, he quietly stepped out, returning with water for everyone without being asked. His kindness and attentiveness didn’t go unnoticed. Today, we felt like we had an angel watching over us. We’re beyond grateful. Thank you.

Great tour with Abdul - we visited a Berber market, Argan Oil compound and some beautiful waterfalls. The food was also brilliant. Abdul was a great guide and was very informative.
