challenging hike but all worth it. The waterfall swim is the best part after the long hike and the food was delicious. Thank you

Excellent guided tour. 4 mile hike through Rincón - followed by a shorter hike to waterfall for swimming. Definitely for those who are capable of long walks and light stairs. The lunch exceeded expectations- there was entertainment and it was buffet style. Our family of 6 enjoyed it all. FYI the road coming in is part gravel and many pot holes- don’t be deterred.

Shuttle to and from the 4 parts of the tour . Oliver our guide was so respectful and caring and gave us a lot of Info about the plants and animals around the volcano . He helped us get great pictures of monkeys and birds .We definitely got more out of the tour than we would have if we had gone on our own. The waterfall was amazing and we went back the next day early in the morning and had the place to ourselves . The buffet lunch was excellent in an open air restaurant with live music . The hot springs with mud was a relaxing and fun ending .

Rincón de la Vieja was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We could have done the park on our own but our tour guide Oliver so knowledgeable and helped us learn so much not only about the parks, but the animals and country of Costa Rica. He was more than worth the price of admission and made it a way better experience. He also took great photos for us and helped us keep an eye out for rare animals in the park. Would definitely recommend.

So many cool things to see at this park!! We went hiking, saw a waterfall, went swimming in the hot springs, and did a mud bath!

Hiking thru national forest seeing birds, trees, animals and waterfalls. We had an excellent guide who knew the area and his subject matter in depth.

Beautiful park with lots to see and do. It was a well-organized tour and our guide was very experienced. The buffet lunch was excellent.

I had an amazing time and glad I went. At first I was apprehensive because I didn’t want to do zip lining nor did I want to do the waterfall slide in the forest however, when I got there and in part the persuasion by my friend. ,I did it and it was the best experience ever I did all the activities, including horseback riding the Hot Springs and my mud bath. I also enjoyed (although wasn’t in the description for our package), the cultural tour in which we learned about their sugarcane and coffee cultivation and their clay making display. That was also a very nice add-on. I will be remiss, if I didn’t mention the food. . I’m a vegan so I thought that I wouldn’t have much options, but there were options to eat and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this experience.

Johnny was our guide and he was outstanding. He stopped along the way to point out wildlife and was very knowledgeable. One of the coolest things about this hike is you go thru both wet and dry Forrests. It’s a well maintained path but lots of stairs so if you have bad knees it might be tough
