Queenstown: 35-Min Breathtaking Alpine Scenic Flight

Absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking and having the opportunity to land on a snow covered mountain was a dream come true. Our pilot was friendly and very thorough in his explanations and knowledge of what we were seeing. He helped take pictures and definitely ensured our safety. It’s a tight squeeze for seating, so you need to like your neighbor. Take off and landings were very smooth. I highly recommend this trip!

The flight was really worth it. Ground crew and the pilot was super friendly , specially Lucy who was super helpful. Right then and there we decided to do this again in summer.

Quite simply the experience of a lifetime for us. My children’s first time seeing snow and we got to land on it! Our pilot Alfie was amazing, we felt very safe and enjoyed his company and commentary. Whilst the weather wasn’t favourable for us to do the flight we had originally booked, the team worked hard to offer us a safe alternative flight. Special thanks to Katie behind the scenes! I 100% recommend this company and the experiences they offer. We will remember our trip for a lifetime.

First time in a Helicopter so obviously a bit nervous but those feelings very quickly dissipated thanks to the wonderful & sincere level of service offered by all the staff, the pilot was just fantastic, very informative. I will be going back up in the air again with these guys when I next visit NZ

A most exciting trip over the mountains, but be careful if you have a non-NZ phone. When we tried to find the heliport to check-in on arrival in Queenstown (as requested) it was all closed up, and the phone number provided did not answer so we called another number which turned out to be a different company. At 8am we called them for a weather check to confirm the trip was going ahead, at which point they answered the phone. These call costs to NZ land lines cost me £3.50 a minute (approx £28 in total). Other tours I have done this trip the tour operators communicate by WhatsApp, whereby calls are free and this extra expense is not incurred. Otherwise Scenic Helicopter tours made sure that all the safety measures were in place and that we were all briefed accordingly, adding up to an exhilarating experience.

Fantastic experience. The view was incredible and the landing so much fun. I felt safe at the same time as exhilarated. Highly recommended.

A very professionally run outfit right from booking and checkin to a very enjoyable flight experience. Our pilot Jeremy was very informative and the glacier landing was something special. Helicopter very spacious and all 6 passengers get great views. Would recommend these guys any time you are in Queenstown.
