Well worth it, lunch was lovely and the shearing show brilliant. A bit disappointed to not see the highland cows.

The entire experience was great The boat ride over is wonderful. We sat inside on the upper deck on the ride to the farm because the weather was cool, but with all the windows, the views were not obstructed. I would advise to get in line at least 20 minutes early to ensure an upper deck seat. The line forms perpendicular to the boarding ramp into the walkway of the building. We were one of the last to get an upper deck seat and were there 10 minutes early. On the way back it had warmed enough to sit on the bow, the searing is limited but my wife and I really enjoyed being outside. The food was amazing and is a great chance to try something new. Being from the United States, we are used to free refills of drinks. This is not the case at the restaurant. This is the first restaurant we visited in New Zealand so I don’t know if this is typical everywhere. Our server was kind enough to let use know before refilling. If this is your first time to Queenstown, give yourself at least 30 minutes park and walk to the boat. I used the city park garage after dropping my wife off to pick up boarding passes. It took some time to get turned around and back to the parking garage since on street parking was full and traffic was congested. If I had to do it again, I would have parked first and we both would have walked to boat.

A lovely 3.5 hr round trip cruise for all ages with an enjoyable stop off at Walter's Peak farm for a delicious high tea overlooking the lake from the homestead followed by a easy to walk farm tour and animal feeding with a little time to wander the gift shop or homestead gardens before finishing with a sheep round up and shearing demonstration before boarding the Earnslaw for the trip back to Queenstown.

Amazing experience as always! Exceptional by every measure! Earnslaw cruise, homestead venue, buffet meal, and farm tour. This is a must do for every visitor and New Zealander! Great, helpful and welcoming staff. Particular thanks to the exceptional staff at Queenstown who accommodated our late arrival by rebooking us on the next sailing! See you again soon.

This is our third time doing a RealNZ tour (first in Queenstown) and they are never anything short of exceptional. They run on time, the staff are wonderful and - most importantly - the experience is next level. I knew we were going to enjoy this but it was even better than I expected. The food, the organisation, the timing - everything! We had planned to spend the day skiing but the mountain was closed so spent the night before looking for things to do. This is one of the things I had looked at for our long weekend and there was last minute availability so we booked. So pleased we did! Will definitely be back.

everything about this trip was amazing, it helped that it was a perfect day, but the trip over on the steamship was fun, the grounds of Walter Peaks farm are stunning, the food at the restaurant was really nice. Farm display was also great. All in all a great day out, highly recommend it.

Beautiful experience. Kids loved seeing the engine on the boat. BBQ lunch was divine. Shearing and sheep dog demonstration was lovely. Highly recommend.
