Breathtaking Pompeii & Vesuvius: Lost City, Volcano & Italian Taste

The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The climb was a little strenuous,, but worth it. The lunch was a nice touch to the tour.

New and comfortable van with expert safe driver, fluent in English, very personable. The guide at Pompeii was knowledgeable and courteous. The prearranged lunch was tasty and accommodating for guests with food allergies. The hike at Mt Vesuvius was challenging but doable and rewarding.

Our small group guide Carmela was very energetic and helpful and the driver Nando has lots of energy as well. We enjoyed Pompeii tour and “light lunch” was not light as all. Quite beyond our expectations. The hiking around the new and old volcanoes are a bit exhausting but definitely interesting. Our volcano guide Marcus is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge. Overall highly recommend it.

We did an all day tour to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius with lunch. We had a nice time and the main guide, Andrea, was great. We enjoyed seeing Pompeii and the tour was good but we had some trouble understanding the guide. The lunch was great and a really lovely spot, they were very accommodating for dietary needs. Being able to see Mt. Vesuvius was also very interesting. This portion there was no guide. It was very disappointing to be notified with less than 24 hours that they would not do a pick up, even though that was part of the package and the cost. We were not staying near the meet up spot and it was stressful to have to figure out the travel plan to get to the meet up while trying to enjoy our vacation. The reason was a marathon in the city which would have been known at the time of our booking. They could have given us advanced notice. It is listed as a small group but we had 16- I would expect "small" to be under 10. It is vague, probably intentionally. We would have liked more time to shop while at Pompeii. We didn't get to see the gift shop and just had 5 minutes at the cameo shop.

Excellent tour of Pompeii from Leo who was brilliant at keeping our interest and showing us some of the more unusual things about Pompeii that we’d never have known without a guide. Fabulous lunch that gave us enough energy for our walk - unfortunately it was too foggy to get up to the top of Vesuvius so they organised an interesting alternative to the older crater with a mountain guide - lovely views and very informative. Thanks Carmela and Nando for getting us all organised and to our destinations on time - we had a lovely day.

Didn’t expect much from the tour at first, but Raffi completely changed that in the most positive way. She was incredibly helpful and supportive, and without her, the tour wouldn’t have been nearly as good. We basically saw everything important in Pompeii with a guide who clearly cares about giving her best to the clients. Then we had a “light” lunch — which wasn’t light at all — from appetizer to dessert. And in the end, we headed to Mount Vesuvius, which we didn’t quite manage to conquer, but at least we tried! :) So thank you so much to our wonderful guide and for this amazing experience.

Convenient transportation to and from venue, very polite hostess and driver. Pompeii guide was polite and informative. The lunch provided was great and filling. We loved the hike up to the top of Vesuvius. Highly recommend this excursion.

An amazing and full day visit to Pompeii with ANNA our Guide who knew everything about the site and was very funny animals and I made the visit go very quickly we then headed to lunch had a lovely restaurant and then our driver and Guide ALESSANDRA B, and GIOVANNI took us to the base count of the creator where we walked the last 40 minutes to the summit sometimes the cloud did cover the view, but it was an amazing experience and brought us back in time to catch our cruise. I would highly recommend anyone to book, and hope it’s a few years before the volcano erupt again

After a disappointing tour with another group the day before, we really enjoyed Andrea! He was super informative and had the best energy. He also schooled us on some Italian hand gestures. 😂 Our first stop was Pompeii. Anita was great. We could have stayed all day. We saw so much but there was still more to explore. We then started the drive up Mt. Vesuvius where we had one of the best meals our entire trip. The staff was wonderful and accommodated all types of food/allergy restrictions. The views from the crater were AMAZING. Vittorio was the best driver! He gets a gold star for getting us out of multiple jams. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Nuncia was our amazing guide and Giovanni was our driver, and both were amazing! Nuncia was super sweet and very knowledgeable, she checked in with us at every step of the way, and gave us a ton of information. This tour is not for the weak, walking up Mt. Vesuvius is intense, but so worth it.
