Despite cold & rain Peter did a wonderful job with the Ann Frank story & the overall Jewish experience in Amsterdam. He is very knowledgeable & kind. He even shared his umbrella with us since we only had one!

We visited several important places related to the Nazi occupation and the Jewish community, learning about what life was like in Amsterdam during those dark years. The guide shared powerful stories about Anne Frank and her family, as well as other people who risked their lives to help them. Walking through the same streets and seeing the real locations made everything feel so real and emotional. It gave me a much deeper understanding of Anne Frank’s diary and the impact of the war. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Amsterdam who wants to learn more about its history. It’s not only informative but also deeply moving — a reminder of the importance of compassion, courage, and remembering the past.

Patrick is an excellent guide Very engaging and articulate. We missed our original booking time due to our mistake about the meeting point but called and the office quickly added us to the next group.

Excellent informative walk, poignant and thought-provoking. It brought home the tragedies of war. Especially for the Jewish people living here in Amsterdam and how it then affected the whole population. The references to Anne Frank made it more real. Manuel our guide was a delight. He gave us lots of information illustrated with photos as well as the sights that we can still see. We would thoroughly recommend this walk.

Our guide was Joshi and he was absolutely terrific! We went to the “house” after the walking tour and it was so much more meaningful as we already clearly knew the details of the story! This was so reasonably priced and worth every penny ( euro!!☺️)! Highly rec to everyone and if you get Joshua for your guide it will be even better!!!
