Experience Selvatica: Epic Ziplines & Sacred Cenote Swim

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Vivid for our honeymoon, and one of the excursions we signed up for was Selvatica… and let me just say, it was the highlight of our entire trip! It ended up being just the two of us in our group, which made it feel so personal and intimate. From start to finish, every single staff member went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. A special thank-you to Hugo, our tour guide, he was absolutely phenomenal! He was funny, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares about each guest having the best possible experience. Brandon helped us with the zipline and brought such great energy. He was encouraging, upbeat, and made us feel like pros up there! At the cenote, Victor and Carlitos, the lifeguards, were incredible. I can’t swim, and they took such amazing care of me, making sure I felt secure while still getting to enjoy the water with my husband. Their patience and kindness truly touched my heart. Every single person at Selvatica was friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to be there. They treat you like family, not just tourists. You can feel the positive energy from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. They also served us lunch, which was delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed after all the fun! And one of the most beautiful touches came at the end of the tour. They gave us the opportunity to plant a seed that will grow into a palm tree. We even got to name our seed, which symbolizes giving back to the environment and leaving a positive mark on the planet. I thought that was such a meaningful and inspiring way to end the day. It made us feel like we were part of something bigger. Selvatica truly exceeded all expectations. The staff, the adventure, the food, and the care they put into every detail made this an experience we’ll cherish forever. If you’re visiting the area, especially if you’re staying at the Hyatt Vivid, don’t miss this excursion! It’s thrilling, safe, meaningful, and absolutely unforgettable.

Our family had the most amazing day at Selvatica. We went with our two daughters and it was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Charlie, was absolutely incredible and made the day! He was funny, engaging, and super helpful with our kids, making sure they had a great time and felt safe. The ziplining was a blast, the ATV ride was thrilling, and swimming in the cenote was absolutely relaxing. It’s clear that the entire team at Selvatica loves what they do and it shows in the way they treat their guests. We made memories we’ll cherish forever, and we can’t recommend Selvatica enough, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Charlie as your guide!

Chino and all the staff were excellent guides throughout the whole experience. Everyone is super nice light hearted and have fun with everything we do making jokes which makes the experience a lot better. 10/10 place would highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.

Charlie and Johnny and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved how the facility was built in the middle of the jungle with the bar built around a beautiful old tree. Plenty of restrooms and changing rooms. Our kids had an amazing time on the zipline and we came away with some great family photos.

Charlie, Johnny and everyone on staff were fantastic! Give Charlie a raise! He’s a pro and really made it fun. Well tell our friends about this. The photographer did a great job too and we’re coming home with some great shots for our family.

Charlie was so much fun! He made our experiences so much better! Me and my mom were the only two on our excursion but Charlie made sure that we would still have the best time! Charlie is definitely the best tour guide
