Unforgettable Shanghai: Old Town Bike & Bites Tour

Amazing tour. Charlie is super pleasant, and knowledgeable. We had our meal at a vegetarian rest close to the temple. Food as fantastic!

Top cycling tour for Shanghai, really enjoyed this tour, our guide 'Q' was very, very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting facts. Covered the key areas of the city and learnt so much history. Lunch included which was a bonus.

She told us all about the history of the city, showed us many beautiful buildings and places and introduced us to some top notch ice cream and pan fried pork dumplings which we devoured happily. Our guide, Charlie, made this a fun experience! We first visited the garden in the French Concession and were invited to play Diablo with the locals! A very fun and educational experience! Harder than it looks! We stopped at landmarks along the way, visited a beautiful temple and the oldest traditional pharmacy in Shanghai. Then a lunch of delicious dumplings and finally a return to the starting point! It was incredibly hot the day we went but still fun and educational! Dodging the traffic on the busy streets meant staying aware but I would not have missed this great experience!!

This was an excellent bike tour - my wife and I both really enjoyed it. Charlie did a great job guiding us around, helped me practice my Chinese, and even found some vegetarian food for me. Shanghai is an excellent city to tour by bike. We loved our experience with Culture Shock.

Charlie was a great guide. We enjoyed the bike tour. It's not a lot km on the bike, so no problem at all that it wasn't an e-bike. Great stops on the way, my favourite was Fuxing park with all the pensionadas enjoying their club activities.
