A fantastic, impressive experience about life in downtown Nairobi. Our guide Morgan shared personal stories that really touched us and made the tour a special experience. A highly recommended experience!

Mambo!! this was a great tour. our guides were Morgan and Typhoon. then King Leo met us along the way, with 2 others whose names i'm unfortunately forgetting. Morgan had my group and his recounting of past actions were great, as well as his statements of current day activities. also, as a bonus, we got to share Morgan's birthday with him and wish him a great birthday! overall this was an excellent tour. it was great to see these young men receive an opportunity to grow and flourish and they have certainly seized it. asante sana Nai Nami!

We toured with Tsunami. He was most gracious and clearly a central character in this community. The stories were helpful in understanding street life in Nairobi. One suggestion for this great NGO - offer an option for guests to buy your T shirts or hats at the conclusion on the tour. You can make more $$!

My tour guide Morgan was very cheerful and skilled tour guide! His story of his life surviving on the street was very inspiring. Definitely recommend! :)

This was such a beautiful introduction to Nairobi. I spent the day with Tsunami King and Lord, and the experience was far more meaningful than I even expected. I want to be clear that this is not a tour of slums or hardship. It is a city tour of Nairobi seen through the eyes of people who grew up here, who know its streets, its energy, and its heart. We moved through downtown, midtown, and uptown. We tried food that people actually eat every day. They shared their stories with honesty and dignity. They showed me places that mattered to them, places where they once found safety, community, and small moments of joy. I felt welcomed from the very beginning. The tour helped me understand Nairobi as a living city. Not just the landmarks, but the rhythm, the culture, the ways people look out for each other, and what daily life feels like. There was a feeling of connection, of being invited into something real. I’m deeply grateful for the experience. It touched me. I would genuinely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to understand Nairobi in a way that is human, respectful, and incredibly alive.

Moving, interesting. Side note: As quite some people approached us while waiting, it would be helpful if the tour guides could clarify their affiliation with Nai Nami.

I had a really great afternoon with Moses, Quick and Typhoon, getting to know their personal histories - in equal parts tragic and inspiring - while walking through areas of Nairobi that had shaped them. I was the only person on the tour that day and they took to utmost care to ensure I was safe, informed and having a good time. Would absolutely recommend this walking tour to anyone with an interest in getting to know another side of the city / country off the typical tourist or conference route.

This tour was eye opening and impactful. Hearing about life on the streets through the eyes of someone who lived through it left us with both appreciation and respect. Our guide truly was the King!

We would highly recommend this tour - fascinating to see the daily lives of many people in Kenya struggling to make a living and to hear at first hand the story of our guide, Morgan, a former street child himself. It was a heart warming experience.

This is the best walking tour I have ever taken. We were guided by Dongo and Morgan. They were both deeply generous to share their stories. We were touched by their warmth, honesty and resilience. This tour is an incredible opportunity to see Nairobi through a lens not typically available to travelers. I can’t recommend it highly enough
