Morocco Unveiled: 10-Day Private Imperial Cities & Sahara Journey

Our party were 3 couples and did an 8-day tour beginning in Casablanca. We had just spent a week in Portugal so it was a short flight from Lisbon. Our Driver/guide Mohamad picked us up at the airport and stayed with us the entire tour until he dropped us off in Marrakesh for our return flight bsck to Canada. Mohamad was a fantastic driver and guide and his knowledge of his country and history were very enlightening and entertaining. Mohamad was always on time, pleasant, witty and was flexible for making stops along the way. My wife coordinated the itinerary with Said from MCT and he checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly and to plan. Our journey took us north to Rabat then to Chefchaouen, east to Fez, south to the desert camp in Efg Chebbi, west to Dades Valley and finally to Marrakesh. The Moroccan countryside is stunning and diverse. Each stop had its own unique sights, culture and history, particularly the Atlas Mountains. The desert camp, with the camel ride in and out, was quite the experience. It was here where we actually got to meet Said in person which was great. The camp was very comfortable and to see the sun rise, sun set and stars in the Sahara were once in a lifetime. For each of our stops in Fez and Marrakesh MCT arranged a private guide to escort us though the medinas and the markets. Both gentlemen were outstanding guides and did an excellent job conveying the history and explaining the culture. Every hotel and Riad we stayed at were unique and provided excellent accommodations and breakfasts. We would highly recommend Morocco Countryside tours and want to thank Said, Mohamad and their team for memories that will last a lifetime.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids . We were picked up at the Marrakesh airport from Moha . From the very beginning until the very end when he brought us back to the airport 9 days and 2000 km later all over Marocco , he was super . We felt safe , comfortable and always reassured with him . We travelled safely in a manual trasmission 2023 Ford Transit , which was very well maintained and at the end of each day , Moha would detail the inside. I’m a car mechanic and I pay close attention to these things. What I loved the most is that I didn’t feel trapped in some tourist channel. We saw an authentic Marocco and Moha was always giving us good suggestions about where to buy stuff and where have meals . The only thing we felt a bit unhappy about is about the time that we originally were told that it would take to go from one place to the other . We spent a lot more time on the road than what we were told once we booked the trip . That can be depending upon many factors. Traffic , road conditions, Gendarmerie Regale random checks ( very frequent !) but we felt that it was overall quite underestimated. Other than that , thank you Moha , thank you to your family who you introduced us to , thank you to your boss , Said , who welcomed us in the desert . Marocco left a very special place in our hearts!

if you’re on the fence about booking this trip, just do it! We booked out tour with Moroccan Countryside from Casablanca to Marrakech, including two nights in a luxury desert tent. Every day felt unique, and the desert was a bigger highlight than I ever imagined. Our driver, Muha, was phenomenal - professional, kind, and someone we still keep in touch with. The local guide in Fes was brilliant. The accommodations, vehicle, and food were all excellent, and the trip was seamless from start to finish. Moroccan Countryside truly delivered a first-class experience.

My husband and I took a personalized 10-day tour in July 2024. It was life-changing. I can't stop thinking about it, over a year later. Everything was perfect! Excellent accommodation and food; the variety of experiences was superb and we appreciated the mix of structured time and time to do what we wanted; landscapes were phenomenal; and overall we loved experiencing Moroccan culture and history. Communication in the pre-trip planning stages via email was fast and easy. Our driver and guide, Youssef, was fabulous throughout the trip and a font of knowledge. This was not only the easiest vacation I've ever taken, but also the most fun. 11/10!

Having just returned from our trip, I can honestly say that I would recommend this tour, this country and this company for sure. Ayoub was a fantastic guide, helpful, kind and easy to work with. We had lots of laughs and all of our needs, questions and wants were accommodated with kindness and efficiency. Zaid, drove us all around with incredible skill on some very hard terrain. Planning was smooth, as Said our contact was incredibly responsive to our questions and sent us lots of options and ideas at our request. We opted to see lots of the country, which required much driving, but it was so worth it. Such a stunning country, beautiful sights, artistic wares, craft collectives and history to be taken in, great food and we were well taken care through Morocco Countryside Tours. Youssef was a great tour guide for us. He was there at every turn. He helped us in every situation. He had all kinds of great recommendations. It was a seamless experience and the company really catered to whatever we needed and requested. We were so thankful to have our own driver and not worry about driving there!! Remember: Don’t drink the water and if you’re a vegetarian, I wouldn’t recommend eating the street food because of contamination (I had a bad stomach bug as soon as I got home, thankfully it was AFTER the trip!) From start to finish my husband and I loved everything about our anniversary trip in February! Our driver Mustafa was the best! It was 100% worth it to have someone driving us from place to place so we could enjoy the beautiful scenery of Morocco! All the places we stayed were clean and beautiful! Everyone we met were so welcoming. They made sure we stopped at great places to purchase ceramics, leather, and textile goods! The places the guides took us to eat were great as well! Would recommend the company to anyone for a trip to Morocco!
