My friends and I recently joined Viator’s Private City Tour of Cartagena led by Niko and it exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the tour was seamless. Niko was punctual, greeted us with warmth, and navigated us through Cartagena’s iconic sites, including the Manga mansions, San Felipe de Barajas Fortress, La Popa Monastery, the colorful Walled City, and Bocagrande. But more than the sights, it was Niko’s personality that made the tour truly memorable: He was friendly, flexible, and attentive to our interests. His stories were authentic and personal, offering cultural context that only a local could. When we wanted to stop for shopping, he adjusted the schedule effortlessly. His knowledge of history and fluent English made every stop both informative and engaging.

Me, my wife, and my daughter took this tour in Cartagena and learned a lot about the city and culture. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. We learned a lot about each place we stopped, as well as the history and people. The fortress was definitely the highlight, but all of the stops were fun.

Carlos and Kevin were a wonderful pair as guide and driver, respectively. They worked quite well together. Before the tour began, Carlos gave us an overview of what were going to do and what to expect from vendors. He was thorough and correct! Carlos tailored the tour to what we wanted to do and we enjoyed all of it. We learned of the history of the area as well as the importance of the culture and its people. The artwork in Getsemaní is breathtaking! We had an unexpected good surprise with some singing during a coffee break which added to an already great day. Carlos also recommended some restaurants to us before we parted and he was not wrong! We highly recommend a day with Carlos and Kevin!

Fantastic Tour of Cartagena. Our guide, Roque Vergara was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and his English is excellent. Our driver, Eduardo was also great. It was a wonderful tour that I highly recommend.
