The operator should provide clear meeting point information. I had to research where to meet up. The buses themselves were fine, however the driver's and the staff were not friendly at all except the ladies taking the tickets were all pleasant. My biggest gripe was 2 instances. 1. Were told to get off and connect to the red line. So we got off and after not seeing a sign for the red line asked where was it. Well it was across the street. Would have been great to know since there were no signs to say that. Had I not seen another bus across the street I would not have asked. 2. We are at stop 13 and the driver let the people getting off at 13 get off and the bus sits there for five minutes. Then the guy tells us we have to get off and take another bus. What! Why couldn't you just say that when the bus stopped. So everyone finally got off and walked to get the next bus which only took a few minutes. So why would I say to do this. Once you got on the bus the red line was good. Blue was ok to as many sights. It's the communication that is lacking. I would try the red hop on hop off bus company next time and see if it is better. Oh and the driver once he closed the door did not open them. One lady had a person woth mobilitybissues and she banged in the bus and he just kept going. She was at the middle of the bus so that was not cool. For the money it was doable but other cities seem to do a better job at the whole experience. Especially telling you where you can initially meet or give you a pdf of the stops when you purchase a ticket.

The best way to get to know the city without having to worry about a car.The ease of being able to get on and off during the journey always makes us choose this flexible option.

Easier to get on blue line in the morning. Then we did the red line in late afternoon. Got to see it all.

Easy to get on and off. Great stops for sightseeing and other activities. Informative and given maps One issue is that the tour operator did not respond to question.

We went on a city tour hop on hop off bus in Barcelona as we were only there for the day and wanted to see all around the place. they have two bus routes the green and the red and you can change route whenever you like the routes cross over in several places which is very useful. We took the red bus first down at stop number one at the trade centre and travelled right around the route first to decide which part of the city we wanted to see The bus would slow right down, or sometimes stop at any of the important places at first I thought €33 each was quite expensive but we spent about six hours on the bus so it was a very good deal in the end .some of the buses were very full so you would just wait for the next one it was only about 10 minutes if that I don’t know how many buses they have but there are loads and loads it’s also good if you have reduced mobility as they have ramps at the stops and will help you get on the bus .there is also an audio guide in 16 languages and they give you free earphones you can also go to these places on the tube we did not as it was packed and we felt for our own safety as it is full of pickpockets i’m in my 60s and can’t move like i used to but if you are young fit perhaps the tube is good for you but you cannot have anything in your pockets as other peoples hands will be in there. we felt very secure with lots of rooms on the bus I think the buses went from 9 am, and the last drop-off was seven at night, but please check as I’m not 100% on that .we change the buses at red stop 14 and got on the green bus at stop 10 and travelled all the way around again to see where we wanted to stop in the end we stopped at green stop 12 which is by the hard Rock café and is the top of LA Rambla as it was 6:30 and the taxi is picking us up at 7 to go home it was a great sightseeing day and we got back to our hotel with five minutes to spare there are also some QR codes for up to 20% off some of the places on the bus tour guide. I will take a picture of the leaflet so you can get the codes from it for more information please leave feedback if this has been helpful and have a great holiday bye for now Nick

The hop-on-hop-off bus in Barcelona is great. There are two lines and many stops so you can actually see the whole city (more or less) in a day by going on both lines. You get earphones so you can listen to the history in a language you decide. In October there were a lot of busses so you didn’t have to wait long at the stops for the next one to come along. We bought the tickets in advance but you can also buy them when you line up to go aboard. I recommend the tour as it is a great and somewhat peaceful way to see the city.

We frequently use HOHO buses to get a feel for a new city. Did both the red and blue lines in 24 hours. Then, went back for a closer look at the spots that interested us most. Friendly staff, clean buses and good audio.

Fun way to see the city. Would recommend to others trying to see a lot in a short amount of time. Buses run on time.

Red route moves very quickly through city, difficult to orient yourself or take pictures along the way. Several language options available via supplied headsets. Was difficult to locate pickup spots initially - couldn’t find a map online or via the app. Tried to chat with tour operator but went unanswered. Finally googled info and found info after looking for awhile.
