I totally recommend this experience to anyone who would like to know more about El Salvador Ancestry History. Alfredo Diaz was my guide and he was really respectful, kind and knowledgeable about the entire tour. -There were no admission fees because they are included with your ticket purchase. -My visit started at 8:30 am and finished at 5:00 pm so it is indeed a full day tour. -The atmosphere of all the places we visited was healthy and enjoyable. -Crowd Size depends more on what days you decide to do the Tour, weekdays are less crowded than weekends.

I joined the Maya Route Tour and it was an amazing experience. Alfredo was a fantastic guide — knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about El Salvador’s history. Highlights included Joya de Cerén, the “Pompeii of the Americas,” and the impressive pyramid at Tazumal. Alfredo explained the significance of each site in a clear and engaging way. The tour was smooth, informative, and well-paced. Highly recommended — especially with Alfredo as your guide!

Pretty good tour. Great for if you want to spend the day just focused on mayan ruins and architecture. The guide did his best to ensure we were well informed and entertained. The bus ride was smooth and the lunch at the lake was a joy

The Mayan sites on the tour are excellent and our guide, Ado, was so knowledgeable and friendly. He had a lot of extra information that wasn't available otherwise. We made a delicious lunch stop with an amazing lake view that was really like nothing else I have seen anywhere. Covered so much ground but never felt rushed or hurried. Highly recommend even for the most experienced traveler.

There is a museum at each site but I found the experience of having the information spoon fed to you much better. You don't spend that much time at each site, but I never felt rushed. The convenience of the shuttle is also unparalleled.

The experience was amazing. Our tour guide Alfredo Diaz was excellent. He was knowledgeable in everything he spoke about. He provided excellent information in both English and Spanish and was able to provide insight into the history of El Salvador. He was patient with us and always willing to help with pictures and recommendations.

This is a great experience and good value in general. I would recommend to the operators to only do one language at a time to increase the speed of the tour. Our guide who was great was doing multiple languages which means double the time in each area. I would give 5 stars if not for that. Still a great learning experience and good tour in general though.
