Unforgettable Everest Heli-Landing: Day Tour from Kathmandu

This was a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience. Seeing Mount Everest was on my bucket list and this was thrilling way to do it. It was so worth the splurge to make the dream come true. From my first enquires to the final drop off at my hotel after the flight, the whole process was handled flawlessly by Buddhi at Himalaya Holiday Service. He responded more quickly to my messages than anyone I have ever dealt with. I actually felt bad that I did not always respond as fast to him as he did to me! He was very kind and professional. He even found a person to replace my traveling companion who cancelled late the day before the flight, even though I offered to still pay for both our seats. In addition we flew with a very accomplished pilot and I felt incredibly safe. The views were jaw dropping of course. I found myself shaking my head in disbelief that I was actually there. I can't believe Mount Everest was right there in front of me. This tour and company gets my highest recommendation.

The tour was spectacular, with a highly experienced and skilled driver. The company is very honest — if the visibility isn’t good, they will let you know. The staff is very responsible. We were able to see Everest clearly, and the pilot explained each mountain and the location of all the camps. I came in April and tried to do the tour three times, but they told me it wasn’t possible because the visibility wasn’t good. Now I came back in October and was able to do it without any problem. I highly recommend this company; they are excellent.

The helicopter tour was an incredible experience from start to finish. The entire process was smooth and very well organized from check-in and briefing to the actual flight and return. Safety was clearly the top priority. We were given multiple safety instructions before boarding, and the crew made sure everyone understood the procedures. The helicopter itself felt modern and well-maintained, and the pilots were highly professional and confident throughout the journey. Everything ran perfectly on schedule, and the flight offered breathtaking views of the mountains, with Mount Everest visible in the distance. It was both thrilling and completely safe, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Nepal.

I arranged the tour while in the United States. The tour was exciting and beautiful. I have been to Kathmandu many times and hoped to schedule this trip. The pilot was safe, and the tour operator did everything perfectly. The trip was excellent and the staff was very capable of making the trip carefree and safe.

A must do experience. Regardless if you are naive to the mountains or experience mountaineer, to flight within the Himalayas is a life memorable bliss experience.

Once in a live time Experience. The ride was smooth with Airbus H125. The pilot made us feel safe and comfortable. Enjoyed all the time. Will do again.

We had to wait few days due to the weather but finally flew to Everest. The pilot was best. The breakfast at hotel everest view was amazing and had great time.
