Great hike, not too strenuous. Well marked trail, viewpoints along the way, and great photos at the top. Ended up being about 4.5 miles (7km) round trip, with about 1500 ft of vert (500m). Diego was a great tour guide.

my tour guide was Alejandro Romero he was great, taught us about the culture of the city and kept a good pace for the hike being that i was a beginner. He was very prepared and gave great food recommendations

This was a great (modified) trip. It was modified as Santa Ana was unfortunately inaccessible the day of our tour due to heavy rain. As such we went to Cerro Verde instead, and did a fairly leisurely 50-minute hike with a large group guided by the park ranger. The tour company proactively communicated the change the day before, and offered a refund if you liked. Very much appreciated. We then went with our much smaller group of six to the lake, which was beautiful. The food, margs, and company were great! We also got some great views from both Cerro and the lake. Our tour guide Diego was great. He communicated well in English and Spanish the whole time and was good about sending updates through What’s App. Highly recommend this tour!

Really enjoyed the tour. David was a great guide and adapted the tour for us when the weather made the government close access to the volcano. At first we were disappointed by this news, but in the end we had a wonderful time, saw some beautiful places, and met some great people! Thanks!

Where to begin!?! What an incredible experience from start to finish. We had the most amazing tour guide, Diego. He was very friendly, kind and super knowledgeable about so much! Even though people in our group were from all over the world, Diego made us feel like we were all close friends. Diego was on time when picking everyone up and thoroughly explained the next steps to all of us throughout the day. The hike itself was challenging but so worth it in the end. Diego was conscious of everyone's pace and made sure we were all ok during the hike. This hike had been on my bucket list for several years and it exceeded my expectations! I had read many reviews boasting about how great Diego was and I am so glad that we were paired with him as our guide. Highly, highly recommend this hike in beautiful El Salvador!!!

Really enjoyed the Volcano hike. We were very lucky we had no rain and cloud cover so it wasn't too hot. At the top of the volcano we again were lucky as the clouds cleared and we had a clear view of the volcano. It was a moderate hike so if you are in average shape it should be fine. Our tour guide was excellent as was the group I ended up meeting during the hike. Definitely a must do in El Salvador!

Alejandro was a great guide. He did everything to ensure our comfort. Arrived on time. Took photos. Gave advice during the hike. Encouraged the group to connect. Thank you!

Josue was awesome. The pace was great and he was extremely knowledgeable. The hike is steep but we took many breaks and he knew where all the best look outs were so it flew by
