Golden Circle: Iceland's Must-See Wonders from Reykjavik

Our tour guide Margaret was fantastic!!! She shared soo many facts about Iceland, and some personal touching stories about raising her kids here. The driver Morec (I don't know how to spell his name) was an incredible driver. Very safe & cautious. I didn't have a stress in the world with him behind the wheel. Very smooth and the bus is quite large. This tour: we went to the Tomato Greenhouse that grows many other things. Enjoyed some delicious tomato 🍅 soup and a Bloody Mary. All grown where we sat & gobbled it up. Also got to pet some Icelandic horses. Which we also learned the history about them! Then hit up Gullfloss Falls. Just incredible thing to see. Geysers.... Plus many many many more! It's a full long day, but they plan out many spots to go potty & grab a bite to eat or just a snack. Paced very well.

This was a TREMENDOUSLY amazing tour. We landed in Iceland (from the US) at 9am and were on a bus at 12pm and every moment was worth it. Our tour guide (Oskaar) was exceptional - his enthusiasm shone through every word. He showed us the Geysir geothermal area, the Gullfoss Waterfall, and Þingvellir National Park, as well as an additional stop to pet and feed (approved food only!) Icelandic horses. Both the tour & the guide were perfection. Every part of this was delightful. He was an amazing driver, and guided us as he drove, and took us on swift and perfect routes. His communication was ideal and he seemed genuinely interested in every person and every part of this tour. An 8 hour bus ride immediately after getting here could have gone badly, but this was PERFECTION. I highly recommend it!

This tour might have been the highlight of our trip to Iceland! Darren was a formidable tour guide, providing the perfect amount of information, facts, chill time, fun anecdotes and humour. The stops on the tour are must-sees. I loved every part of it from the Thingvellir National Park where you get to stand between two continents (North America and Europe), the Great Geysir and the Gullfoss waterfall. My mum and I both agreed that Darren was the perfect tour guide! And Ibra, our driver was sensational too - getting us through the narrowest of bridges. Not sure how he did it! We would recommend this tour to anyone. No notes!

Excellent way to spend a day in Iceland. Pickup was prompt, although I was unaware that there were multiple small vans that picked up from hotels to meet at a central departure point on the outskirts of Reykjavik. Once we were all together, our tour guide gave us the rundown of the three things we were going to see that day: Thingvellir National Park, Strokkur geyser, and Gullfoss Waterfall. We had about an hour at each stop which was more than enough time to take everything in, and our guide was very informative on the rides in between, mixing in aspects of history, culture, and geology.

Golden Circle Direct We are happy with our Golden Circle Island by Reykjavik Excursions . The drop on- drop off worked perfectly. The bus was comfortable, the time we had to see the places like the waterfalls, the geysers and the park was enough. The landscape was spectacular en we had information from our guide Mr. Gunnar Ragnarsson the whole time. He is a very competent and nice guide. Also the driver Mr. Róbert was top, he drove us safely and well from and to the BSI Bus Terminal. We sure recommend this excursion to everyone who goes to Reykjavik.

Alain and Lukas were great. Alain was very friendly and knowledgeable! The golden circle is well worth the trip outside the city even if you are only in Iceland a short while.

It was outstanding other than rain most of day. Iceland is beautiful. Tour guide was excellent and very informative. She made it fun and loved how prompt she was on time.
