Ultimate Bari Food Tour: Exclusive Street Eats & Local Secrets

The tour stated four stops for food tasting and we only had one stop and I'm not sure if you can even call it a stop. We stood outdoors and were given a piece of focaccia bread and a napkin. This is by far very different than any other food tour I have done in many other countries. Typically you make stops sit down in a restaurant here a little bit of information about the restaurant taste food at the restaurant sometimes have a beverage as well. The only food stop we had as I mentioned above was one and we had to stand up outside. This was very disappointing and did not at all match the description of the tour. On a positive note the guide was good and funny.

Great food tour, got to taste and see all that Bari is famous for, Wear hat for sun. bring extra water. Leave time to park car if driving.

Guilia was an outstanding guide! We got to stop at a home where a woman was making some Italian food to sell. Her 97 year old mother came out and wooed us all with her charm.

The Original street food walking tour with Iris was absolutely brilliant! She was so knowledgeable, patient and made the tour truly memorable . It was really interesting to learn about Bari and its history and visiting the important sites. The food was absolutely to die for and the portions massive. The tour is very well guided. Simona is yery knowledgeable and also a very nice guide. She presented the history of Bari Vecchia in an interesting way, so that we remembered quite a lot. And she also remembered all our names! Then Chiara took us for street food that was very good. She was also very nice and amusing.

Anna Rita is a very informative and friendly guide who is great at giving both the history of Bari Old town but also gave modern anecdotes. Like any good Italian she spoke about food a lot and gave tips on what to try whilst in Bari.
