Epic Peru Coast & Oasis: Ballestas & Huacachina Adventure

1) Pickup is included and they will accommodate you if you stay in an Airbnb by assigning a hotel pickup location near you. Very convenient. Mar was my guide and she communicated everything I needed to know and was kind and approachable throughout the whole experience. Our driver, Moche, got us there and back safely. I appreciate both of them for their hospitality in this really long day. 2) If you are a thrill seeker, the boat ride is for you. I didn’t like how fast the driver went and even though I didn’t die I was questioning my life’s choices. I felt uncomfortable majority of the time because salt water was splashing in my contacts and it was cold out there. If you’re a girl and want to take cute pictures later, (you will want to take cute pictures later. There are so many beautiful views) make sure you bring things to freshen up and a hair tie or clip because this is the first activity. I will say Mickey made the experience fun and helped me to be less anxious because he was comedic and has a fun personality. 3) The food at the restaurant was just okay but it was really cool to try a local cuisine and I recommend to try at least one item. If I could go back I would have gotten the duck. I got the chicken and spaghetti and it smelled really good but was lacking in flavor. My boyfriend got the steak and fries but it was also a little plain. The Pisco sour portion was a lot of fun and I loved almost everything we tried. (Mostly sweet wines) the only complaint I have is that only the front row received a pisco sour cocktail at the end. There were three rows of people who did not get a chance to try the drink and I felt like that was the whole point of that portion. We had to leave so it was a little disappointing but not the end of the world. 4) THE DUNES ARE EVERYTHING!!! Everything was worth it when walked to meet our driver. Again, I am NOT a thrill seeker but maybe after the boat ride I got some courage. Kinderson, who I believe was our driver, was literally taking us on a roller coaster lol and I loved every minute of it. He was so chill as he was driving too! He was soft spoken but kind and I’m so glad he was our driver bc I heard some of the other ones were a lot crazier in their driving. I did the 1 hour and it was still a beautiful sunset. I did both hills on the board and y’all, DO IT. Not to mention the photos and overall ambiance. It is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in all my travels. 5) Overall, this was a challenging experience for me because I was not prepared for the amount of thrills but I am soooo glad I chose this as an activity. The team is well organized and will do whatever in their power to accommodate you. I would definitely book another activity with them but on the ground only!

Paracas and Huacachina were amazing! Peru truly has so much to offer, and we had an incredible experience. Moshe and Marjorie were an excellent driver and tour guide. They made sure everything was safe, smooth, and well organized. Mickie, our boat guide, was both friendly and informative. The dune buggy and sand boarding guide was also fantastic and made the ride so thrilling. So much adrenaline! Overall, it was an awesome experience from start to finish.

I want to express my deep gratitude to Marjorie, Ever, and Moshe, our guides. The tour was well-planned, executed, and went smoothly. Marjorie did a great job explaining the tour's dos and don'ts, and she spoke both Spanish and English well. Moshe drove smoothly and safely. Ever offered us the excitement and good times. A well-planned tour. I will always remember my stay in Peru. The greatest!

To join this tour was such a good decision! I enjoyed every minute and I didn't even expect such an adventure. The team was great - the guide Marjorie is a sweet person, very professional, she explained everything very clearly. Although we were a big group all went smoothly. Thumb up for the driver of the bus Moche and guide Miki from the boat to the islands. And big thanks for the buggy driver for safe driving in the dunes. I totally recommend this trip, good organisation and the price is fair.

The trip was grest Moshimar with information. The driver was also good getting us around. I would reccomend this tour to anyone!!

Here’s a polished 5-star review you can post as-is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was an excellent full-day excursion and absolutely worth it from start to finish. It’s a long day, but everything is very well organized and runs smoothly. Our guide Mar was fantastic; knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure everyone was informed and comfortable throughout the day. Huge shoutout as well to Mochi, our driver, who was incredibly safe and professional, especially on such a long route. The itinerary is packed but never rushed. There are planned stops for lunch and dinner to go at the end (purchased on your own), which worked out perfectly and gave us a chance to relax and recharge. The highlight of the entire experience was Huacachina; the dune buggies and sandboarding were SO much fun and truly unforgettable. Easily the best part of the day. Transportation was comfortable, the Ballestas Islands boat tour was great (you will get wet), and the pisco tasting was a nice bonus. If you’re visiting Peru and want to see multiple iconic spots in one day, I highly recommend this tour.

10. It was a very great experience. Mar was an excellent host and our bus driver had superb driving skills. He got us to every location safe and sound.

This experience was great. Our guide Mar was amazing and interesting and we had really good driver Moshe. First we went to Paracas and went on boat tour to see Balestas island where we had really good guide Micky. Then we went on lunch and had presentation about Pisca. For the end of the tour we went to Huacachina and it was amazing. Our buggy driver Chiquito (that is his nickname) was amazing. We went with him to sandboard and after all watched sunset. The tour was amazing and I would recommed it to everyone!
