Unforgettable Ireland: Wicklow, Glendalough & Kilkenny Escape

Lovely to see a different side of Ireland to the centre of Dublin where we had been staying. Beautiful scenery and enjoyable walks made all the more memorable by the informative and entertaining Pat who was our tour guide for the day. I would highly recommend.

Nice day trip out of Dublin for those looking to explore outside of the city. To me, the highlight of the day was the national Park. We had over an hour to explore the gorgeous scenery and the lake around the Glendalough Monastery. Kilkenny was fine for food and shopping, but there wasn't much to do beyond that (we weren't super interested in exploring the castle). Highly recommend Left Bank for lunch in Kilkenny. Our guide, Dermot, was very informative but was a really big talker. We couldn't relax on the bus much.

Nice trip to get outside of Dublin. Despite the rain, had an interesting visit at the monastic site. Would have liked a bit more time in Kilkenny.

Tour was great. Tour guide Dermott was a star and was very kind about our English heritage. His commentary, humour and singing were an added bonus. Adam was a good driver. Recommend this Tour Dave and Sue , Leeds.

This day tour is perfect for female solo travellers. Pat has been the best guide ever, giving plenty of into about the Glendalough lakes, Wicklow National Park and Kilkenny throughout the entire journey. I’ll definitely recommend to everyone!

He brought the history and stories of each stop to life, making the whole day both educational and entertaining. Our driver, Bart, was excellent too

We really enjoyed our trip ! Our guide was really nice and funny, he told us a lot about Ireland history so we learnt a lot of stuff. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we enjoyed walking under the rain to discover the lakes and Glandalough!
