My granddaughter and I went on a private tour that included the horseback ride on the beach, drive to La Bufadora and then to downtown Ensenada where we had lunch and then to a spa for a massage. The whole experience lasted about 6.5 hours. We were picked up and dropped off at the ship. We enjoyed all of it except that we were led by 2 young boys along the beach. We did not have use of the reins. They didn’t want our horses next to each other as the one would get frisky.

Way better than anything the ship excursions offered! Alberto our driver not only took us to our destination points but also stopped by the beach where my kids wanted to pick up sand dollars and had great recommendations for local spots and food to visit. We weren’t impressed with the horseback riding employees. They were a little rude and rushed. Would still recommend the experience overall!

Our driver was great and nice to have the individual service over a bus tour. The horseback riding was fun and everything went smoothly. I think La Bufadora is extremely overrated. It’s just water squirting up through the rocks. They’ve built a street of vendors in front of this experience so in order to see La Bufadora you must go through a gauntlet of people trying to sell you stuff. It’s the classic in your face tourist trap that exists in several Mexican cities. Everyone is nice, but if you hate that constant sales pressure stay away. This is not a knock on the tour company but the La Bufadora experience.

Martha was very wonderful. She drove us around all day, patiently waiting for us to get back from all of our stops. She was very kind and even translated for us!

Me and my BF booked this trip and rode privately with Alfonso! Alfonso spoke very little English and he had great taste in classic rock music and played it for us in the car! We easily found our sign under the billboard beyond the port. The horseback ride in the canyons is a MUST! Absolutely breathtaking scenery, the place is massive and horses were beautiful/taken care of. Then our driver accompanied us to the shops and bufadora, but you can choose to go it alone! The shop people are intense but very nice and funny . Bufadora was really cool to see and we enjoyed it for about 10 mins, it wasn’t crowded either. Overall great experience!

AMAZING.... The pick-up location was by the glass building on the far end, and the driver was standing there holding our name(we were a few minutes late). The driver was lovely and delightful. He spoke limited English, but enough to understand. We had to drive about 40 minutes away from the location to get to the excursion. We only purchased horseback riding, which was on a trail. The scenic views, which were breathtakingly beautiful, were amazing, and our horseback instructor was excellent. Once we were done with our excursion, our driver took us to the market, we shopped, and had food there. Overall experience, five stars.

If you want a safe way to experience Ensenadas beach by horse back and the famous blow hole this trip is for you! Jose Luis was professional and very helpful in helping us plan the perfect day.

Highly recommend !!! This tour was great. I didn't take the horse back ride on the beach, I took the horse ride on the mountain side (this is much better). We saw the most beautiful and scenic part of Ensenada. There were only 2 of us on this tour, but it was well worth the 40-minute drive. Then we drove to the La Bufadora Shore where we saw the blow hole. It was a great tour filled with excitement and calm.

Extremely professional, very communicative. We loved our driver Oscar! He was very experienced and gave us a great tour. Oscar took us to the horseback riding area , the bufadoro blow hole where there was an opportunity to eat great tacos and shop. He waited for us each time and got us back to the ship, no problem. We started at 10 and got back around 2:30. I highly recommend booking through Viator! Everything was made so easy, even our meeting point with our driver😁

Enjoyed a terrific excursion in Ensenada with Ensenada Excursions and Tours. Pickup instructions were provided in advance and were very clear to follow. Our ship arrived 1 hour late, which they were already aware of and reassured us it wouldn’t be an issue. Driver was waiting at the designated spot with my name listed. Immediately was very friendly, introduced himself to the entire family, and pulled the car around to head out. From the moment we sat inside, he started sharing countless pieces of information on Ensenada and Mexico. We arrived to the horse riding and waited 10-15 minutes for the prior group to get back. The horse ride itself was on the beach and very enjoyable for both us and the kids. The gentleman who escorted us was very friendly, picking up shells for the kids and taking the initiative to take pictures for us. Following the horse riding, we headed to La Bufadora where he gave us two hours to shop and eat. He gave us various suggestions of where and what to do. When we walked back, the car was ready to go. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Pick up within 8 km of downtown. Port Pick up at Security: Exit the ship and follow these steps: Turn left and walk past the buses and shopping area. Continue straight for about 7–9 minutes (walking time depends on where the ship docks). You’ll pass the large Ensenada sign and walk through 2–3 orange archways. Keep going past two car security booths. Do not cross the footbridge. Instead, walk past it. On your right, you’ll see a large glass building (Museo Caracol) with a billboard.
