Breathtaking Ninh Binh: Tam Coc & Mua Cave Day Trip from Hanoi

We had a fabulous day. Everything was exactly as described in the itinerary. Our guide, Sunny, was amazing. He gave us lots of history and culture about Vietnam. This was a great tour, I definitely recommend it.

We did the 1 day tour to Ninh Binh with our guide Viet who came to pick us up from our hotel in Old Quarter. Bus was comfortable and very luxurious with leather seats, wifi and charging ports on the seat. After being in Old Quarter, Hanoi for 3 days the serenity of Ninh Binh was gladly welcomed. The boat ride was a highlight, lunch buffet was also good 👍. Definitely need to be quite fit to do the 500 step Mua Cave as it gets very steep very quickly. Mixed messaging about not tipping local people and being suggested we tip the rowers of the boat. 🤔 Also it’s not on the website as exclusions but in whatsapp they message you a day before about tipping the guide and bus driver. Suggest they make this up front as I read a negative review about this from another traveller. We got off at Ninh Binh so we missed this. All in all, definitely recommend going to Ninh Binh. Ha long bay was too touristy

I had the best time on this tour! From the very start, our guide Sunny was entertaining, friendly, and shared so many interesting stories along the way. The bike ride to the temple was easy and enjoyable, and lunch was absolutely delicious with plenty of great options to choose from. The boat trip and hike were both breathtaking — truly unforgettable experiences. I highly recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Hanoi!

We had an incredible experience!! From the start, Sunny was responsive, picked us up on time & shared some fun facts about Vietnam to make our tour special & informative. We went on a beautiful bike ride & boat ride that felt out of a story book. This was definitely a highlight of our two week Asia adventure & I cannot thank Sunny for his hospitality enough. We had an absolutely amazing day trip! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The ride was super comfortable, which made the whole journey really enjoyable and relaxing. Our guide, Loi, was truly outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the day. He adapted the itinerary so well to make the best use of the changing weather. Lunch was delicious and well-planned, and every stop felt thoughtfully chosen. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

Hands down, this is the best $40 I’ve ever spent while traveling. Communication was excellent, and the tour well-organized and exactly as described in booking. Our guide, Vu (or Sonny if you’re the type who expects people in other countries to change themselves for you for some reason) was AMAZING. Funny, knowledgeable, great English and eager to share his country’s culture and history. We learned so much and the scenery was gorgeous. You’re simply not going to find a more engaging, full-day experience for the price. 10/10 highly recommend. Vu will have his BMW for wife and cheese baby in no time IYKYK. 🙂

It was an awesome tour, plenty of things to do and you have a lot of time to do it. You don't rush or run between the activities. "Sunny" the tour gay was fantastic and very friendly. I strongly recomend you this tour. It takes about 11 hours from the time of pick up from your hotel, to the drop off. Fantastico tour! Muy recomendado sinceramente para hacer.
