Iconic Mont Saint-Michel: Bayeux Day Trip to Medieval Marvel

Have to love a tour that starts on time and that was true here. Our wonderful tour guide Rose was simply delightful. Very engaging on the drive out. Assured us that even though it was drizzly and overcast all would be good. She was wrong…it was great! This is an absolute must see if in Normandy. Words and pictures didn’t do justice to this experience. We also enjoyed being in a small group of 8.

Anne-Sophie was wonderful. She gave us lots of information about the area and history about the Mont itself. Incredibly informative and interactive tour. It was very windy and rainy during my visit, but with a rain jacket, borrowed umbrella (thanks Anne-Sophie), and appropriate shoes, it was still an incredible experience. I recommend walking back to the visitor center instead of taking the shuttle. Even in the rain, the extra views and fresh air was worth it.

It was brilliant having you guide us around, and your sense of humor (especially adding a touch of British rivalry!) made the day even more memorable. Visiting Mont Saint-Michel has been a boyhood dream of my husband’s, and you made it such a special and enjoyable experience for both of us. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

The meeting place Hotel Mogador changed its name two years ago. It is now Le Declic Hotel. Please change it in your records to avoid confusion. Tour Guide Lucy Hoffman was on time, informative, entertaining and very helpful. I highly recommend Lucy as a tour guide.
