This was epic. Book in advance! If you can swing this, its so worth it. Our guide, Igor was so informative and took the time to let us know all about the different areas and how the communities were effected during the war. He was very thoughtful and made she we saw all of the things we had in mind and added a few he thought we would like. I will never forget this tour.

My son, husband, and I had an incredible time on the Normandy Jeep Tour, and we're giving it 5 out of 5 stars. Our guide, Adrian, was truly the best. His knowledge of the history was impressive, and he was incredibly accommodating. My husband wears hearing aids and sometimes has a hard time hearing with the wind, but Adrian was very considerate. He made a point to choose conversation spots with less wind, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend this tour—especially with Adrian!

Very unique, we were taken to areas off the beaten path. Our guide was very prepared and totally approachable. He was simply a good guy. Enjoyed every minute. Special time.

Most amazing and informative tour! It was incredibly fun traveling in a jeep that had been used in WWII! We got to see hedge rows up close! Our guide Adrian was so knowledgeable about all aspects of the Normandy invasion! I highly recommend this trip!

Our tour guide Julie was off the charts, amazing. My family cannot say enough good things. She clicked and adjusted to my family’s needs, as some fell ill and we had to readjust, and I have a bad ankle and couldn’t ascend Mt. St Michel so she took my kids, and my oldest son is autistic - we did not necessarily disclose this, but she was fantastic and rolled with all of it. She was so patient, EXCEPTIONALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE, and kind. Kindness goes a long, long way these days. Julie is just an absolute gem, and I cannot recommend her enough. Our whole family will remember her impact. Additionally, our WW2 jeep tours were just incredible, and we had access to sites and information about those who fought for the liberation of Europe, that we would have not had otherwise. Eric, “Big Bear,” was exceptional. If you really want the down low on the battles which we are not necessarily taught, and the heroes we don’t necessarily know, use this guide group. 100% I really cannot say enough about Julie and her exceptional level of service and knowledge.

Amandine was a very good guide. She had ann impressive knowledge of Second World War and the area of d-day beaches. We loved driving around in her jeep and hear about the big picture of the war and very concrete stories of individuals who made the stories come to life.

Highly recommend this service. David was good-humored and very knowledgeable about the history and his experiences volunteering with D-Day veterans, having their first-hand stories, added hugely to the experience. Traveling the back roads in an open jeep and seeing the Normandy villages and bocages expanded our understanding of the difficulty of the Normandy action beyond the beaches. Plus, the countryside is so very, very beautiful, the ride alone would have made it all worthwhile. It was a fantastic day!

Our guide “Igor” was Fabulous! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. We saw so much and took away wonderful memories and pictures! Igor provided us with the rich history and information, while at the same time giving us moments to ourselves to explore and reflect on all that happened in Normandy. It was surreal to know we were driving on the same roads and through the same towns that my husband’s father traversed all those years ago! Igor also provided us with fabulous restaraunt and pastry recommendations and obliged our request to visit the Apple farm and acquire Normandy’s “famous” cider and brandy! We only spent a full day with Igor, yet he fueled all three of the days we were in town by being totally present with us that day; providing information, answering our millions of questions, and giving us the total flavor of Normandy then and now! Thank you for a FABULOUS day in a vintage army Jeep! We’ll be back!

Amazing tour. We had two jeeps. Thomas and Vincent were our guides and did an amazing job. Our 10 year old loves learning about WWII and enjoyed every minute of the tour. Dress warm. The breeze can be frigid.

It was a rainy windy and cold day and one would think miserable being in a military Jeep with open air on each side… However, the tour and experience was AMAZING!!! Thomas Bernard was funny, friendly knowledgeable and very passionate about history and Normandy. He made our day!!! We are so grateful for the historical information and the stories. Thank you, Merci’. 😀
