The enclosed portion of this bus makes it difficult to see out from most seats. Stickers on the windows advertise the bus and block the view even further. You need to be able to negotiate the steep stairs to the top deck. Don’t count on going up right away. It’s often crowded, but if you wait until a popular stop when many passengers get off, you’ll have a better chance. Despite these issues, the route covers all the major sights, and I recommend it for anyone wanting a good overview and orientation to Athens.

A great way to see Athens, the buses were really regular and staff were polite and helpful. The drivers we had were experts at getting through the very busy narrow streets and traffic. Commentary recordings were good and fitted well with the journey. There are three lines so make sure you get the correct one if you are planning a route

This was the perfect way to get around the city! We were able to get on and off whenever we wanted, go to all the stores and walk as much as we wanted and safely get back to the part of town our hotel was in perfectly!

Pretty average event. Didn't have earpieces to hear narrative, spent more time selling tickets at each stop, at the T (terminal) stop, the driver just left us sitting there. After a while I checked and he had left with no word about when the bus would continue.

An amazing way to see all of the highlights of Greece. The Athens line took us to all of the great highlights.

We booked the three day HOHO, travelled all three lines and throughly enjoyed our experiences. It was a great way to see the beautiful city of Athens. The staff at the stops was also very helpful in making sure we were going the right direction.

The hop on hop off was perfect Very convenient for seeing the city of Athens. When we first got on, we took the entire tour of the city, which is about 90 minutes and then we got off wherever we wanted to go. It was perfect.

Not a good start. After waiting 90 minutes for a bus to arrive, we were informed by another traveler that the busses were not running because much of the Athens city center roads were shut down due to a bicycle race. Even though this was not the operators fault, it would have been helpful to post a notice on their kiosk stops or a rep available to inform customers. Once the roads were reopened after 12:30, the buses resumed their route but we're overcrowed.

Excellent in every way. We were able to see all the major attractions in the City. The commentary on the headset was very good as well.

This was a great way to see lots of sites in a short amount of time! Very easy to negotiate as buses were available every 15 minutes.
